There are several Team/Individual Goals you can choose from. I have gone in and edited some of them by adding descriptions and/or setting team targets, or I have deleted some that were there. If I deleted one you are on, it will still show in your “Other Goals” until you delete it there. Here is an example of what the team target is about… “Do 500 minutes of fitness activities per month” is the individual goal you can join. The team target is for everyone who is doing this goal to reach a total of 2,500 minutes combined. That means if 5 team members join and reach the 500 minutes goal the team will reach the 2,500 target. Or, if 10 of us join this goal and three reach the 500 minutes and the rest do enough to cover the other 1,000 minute we will still reach the team target.

So, have you joined any of the Team/Individual Goals yet? Do you not know how to join one? Or maybe you joined but are unsure of how to track it. If you want, you can open another window so you can read this as you are joining.

TO JOIN GOALS – Go to the team home page and scroll down. You will see “Team Goals” in Teal and that is where you join. To the right of each goal is a “Join Goal” link you’ll click on and then click on “Yes” to confirm. You will need to do this with every team goal you want to join. The same is for joining goals on other teams you belong to.

TO TRACK GOALS – You can track the goals two different ways. One is to go to the team home page and scroll down like you are joining a goal only you will click on “Track Goal.” This will take you to your “Other Goals” tracking page. You can then track all of your goals for all teams. OR, when you have your mouse/pointer over the “My Trackers” at the top of any page a drop down menu appears. Click on “Other Goals” and there you go.

Now for about each goal on this team…

GOAL - Do 500 minutes of fitness activities per month

TEAM TARGET - 2,500 minutes/month

DESCRIPTION - Some people are earning the 500 minutes of fitness each month easily while others struggle to get there. (I don’t always get past 500 minutes. ~Tika) If/When you earn the 500 minutes, keep going to reach the 1000 minutes. Remember you earn trophies on your SparkPage each month for 250 minutes, 500 minutes, and 1,000 minutes of fitness activities!!

Not knowing how many people are tracking this goal, I have set our team target at 2,500 minutes.

GOAL - Lose 1 pound 1 time per week.

TEAM TARGET - 20/month

DESCRIPTION - Let’s all try to lose at least 1 pound per week. If you lose more, that's great!! Don't forget to check the box each week when you do you weigh in and lose at least 1 pound… under “Other Goals.”

Our team target is to lose 20 pounds per month since I don’t know how many are tracking this goal.

GOAL - Drink 8 cups of water per day

TEAM TARGET - 150/month

DESCRIPTION - With this heat let’s drink plenty of fluids!

GOAL - Team Wall or Check-In 1 post 1 time per day

TEAM TARGET - 60/month

DESCRIPTION - Post to the "Team Wall" each day to give motivation easily to your other teammates. Check-In (or reply to any post) each day to let everyone know how you’re doing. Once you have done one, be sure to check the box in the “Other Goals” area.

If you will, reply with what goals you have joined so I can get an idea of how many people are doing each one. emoticon emoticon

Don't forget you earn 1 SparkPoint for each "Other Goal" you check off each day.
