Most days, yes. Yesterday was rough. I still wrote down in my journal what I ate, although not necessarily the amounts. It was a special day, though. Today, surprisingly, I did get back on track today. It's rough this time of year. I still try to stay accountable, and think how much I used to consume all through the Christmas Season before I started trying to lose weight. I do need to get back to the mindset I had when I was in my "losing phase."

Yes, but getting more strict with myself about measuring and weighing foods. Also, cutting back on calories and watching my snacks, etc. Trying to cut down on starchy foods, as well.

Yes, tracking my food and exercise daily on the WW site. I've never been a tracker, but this is helpful. It makes me think twice before eating something.

I keep track of what I eat daily. I think my biggest problem is getting enough calories. My income is fixin' to be going down starting next month so won't have as many dollars to devote to food. emoticon

Tracking lots of goals every day and foods at least 4 out of 7 --- want to improve that for month of sept and really push hard to lose 2# per week before vacation when I don't track things away from home and computer. Then will hit it hard when we return.

Your doing a great job, Annette. You are sure to keep the pounds off, by practicing what you have learned here on Spark People. After awhile you will find that it will become second nature to you and you will be so use to doing the healthy thing. You won't need to track it, because you will be able to look at it and recognize the portion size that is right for you.

Queen, I'll stop by your page and remind you if that is okay. Remember it is so important to keep a personal food journal and not just rely on the spark tracker. This way you have what you need to look at right there at your finger tips.

You can track, write down your feelings, and ideas on how or when to cut back. You can plan out your next meal even if you are going out to eat. Try calling the restaurant in advance or look them up on line and see if their menu is available with the calorie content.

All of this can be kept in a food journal. It helps, I have done it. And still do.

We will work on it together.

No and I definitely need to get back to doing that for both exercise and food. I used to do it every day but lost my motivation it seems.

Yes, as hard as it is sometimes, I know that's the key to keeping my weight off. I worked too long and hard to get it off. On my recent birthday, I remembered that about 5 years ago, I promised myself I wasn't going to spend the rest of this decade of my life overweight. I realized a few weeks ago that I had finally kept that promise to myself.
