I did a local 5K tonight after work. It was hot! One of my running friends told us to not think about the heat, don't let it get in our heads so I adopted the mantra through the race.... "it's not that hot, feel the lake breeze"!

I sent positive energy to the universe during the run for a friend in need!

I have been trying to be mindful of my eating. I am still tracking and measuring everything after almost 4 years and am very mindful of fulfilling my nutrient requirements every day.

I will read the article and do one thing in the morning.

During very stressful stretches of my life I've done many a "naked workout" where I head out for a run with no music, no plans and keep going until I realize that I have stopped thinking altogether. It sometimes takes 3 miles or so. Then I turn around and run home. Or sometimes walk home. By then I've let go of my stresses and have come back to a neutral state.

BONUS/ALTERNATE CHALLENGE: Be mindful with your eating as well. Take a second to think about your next meal choice. Are you getting the vitamins and nutrients you need? Is the portion size healthy... not too small, not too large? Will it provide energy to get you through your day?
