Planning yogurt for after my workout, took a D3 supplement this morning (the one lab value that was off at my Dr's appt last month), will work in interval training at the gym in just a bit.

hard to get D from food. supplements. calcium, too, though I had dairy.

I got my calcium, not so good on Vitamin D, but took supplement, also did the "SparkPeople 8-Minute Athletic Intervals Cardio Workout Video"

d3 supplement, get outside as much as possible, calcium supplement
plumber's here this morning (annoying), so haven't put in my cardio, yet (annoying), so will do interval training later - breaks up the routine a bit. Improves my annoying attitude.

done! I have a chewable calcium + D supplement that I take daily per my doctor's recommendation. It tastes like caramel :)

Calcium is essential for bone health and plays an important role in preventing osteoporosis. Vitamin D enhances calcium absorption

How will you eat yours: CALCIUM... An eight-ounce glass of skim milk, one cup of yogurt, one cup of cooked spinach, and one fig. if you don't eat dairy, look for calcium-fortified soy milk or orange juice.

VITAMIN D...Some is found in fatty fishes, like tuna and salmon, most of our vitamin D comes from fortified foods, like milk and cereal. The body also produces its own vitamin D when exposed to sunlight.

BONUS CHALLENGE: Interval Training for at least 10 minutes. Alternate between an increases in speed/intensity and a slower pace during your cardio activity. While walking, biking, on the elliptical etc, increase your speed/intensity for one minute, then slow down for two or three minutes.
