I bought Clean Eating magazine that I spotted in the grocery line, I'd noticed a few recipes with that label, I looked through it later and it had a bunch of recipes that sounded great, now I just have to decide which one to try first. emoticon

Today we ate out and I went for the lighter side of the menu and did not have any extras that is new for me (also ate slower and got fuller and a good portion of food I could not finish). Also we tried a new healthy recipe tonight.

I tried two new things today!! I am so proud of me. I tried out my kettlebell,did that to a new video with Jillian. Love it and the way I burn more calories using it. I made a new soup. That was good yum yum.

ok... tried ANOTHER new thing (non fitness related): MEASURING my portions - i KNOW it is basic - but i always eyeballed. 1/2 cup is SO small!! I'm testing myself: how much i would have eyeballed, how much i would have thought i was taking, and how much i am ACTUALLY taking once measured... Eye opening to say the least - hope i'll still be in range, going to fill in lunch right next... (or there will be NO evening eating tonight :) Cheers!!! :)

I tried a mocha from a fast food restaurant and it was awful. I threw it away. The good thing was I didn't consume the calories and will not bother again!

not fitness oriented:
- but wore a colorful barrette i had bought but not worn: make me feel happy and special (and a piece of hair was not in my way (not sure i'll wear it all day, but baby steps - i'm still shy of attention or judgment - 2011 is young.. )

- i added flaxseed in my oatmeal BEFORE cooking it - a FIRST for me: it's a bit slimy (ok, really slimy) BUT it supposed to make you fee more full (don't know yet) AND have to be taken with water - so 3 glasses already!!!
