I kept this objective in mind during my Body Pump class today. I went up in weight on my biceps and triceps and REALLY pushed myself to get as many of the pushups I could. These are all areas that I often wuss out during. But it's good to think, "No more turkey arms!" while I'm doing those painful pushups or difficult bicep curls! You may have changed my Body Pump workouts forever!

I did a lot of upper body yesterday so steppin back today. Did do 30 pushups though.

I've been trying to say bye bye to my turkey arms for over a year now, they just seem to be happy with me and don't want to leave.

Happy Friday to you!

Your challenge today is to DO AT LEAST 3 DIFFERENT EXERCISES THAT FOCUS ON YOUR ARMS.

Many of us work hard on our cardio, but forget how important strength training is. When we start to really lose weight, areas begin to sag if they aren't toned up. Our under arm area is a prime target for "turkey arms".

Even exercises as simple as push-ups or bicep curls can really help shape our upper arms.

For me, I just bought a kettle bell and video. I did the upper body workout tonight, and within 5 minutes, I was REALLY feeling the burn.

You don't have to use fancy equipment to work out your arms. You can grab resistance bands, light weights, or even full bottles of water or soup cans. Remember to take your time with these exercises. Slow & correct will give you the best results.

Feel free to check back at the end of the day with what you did for your exercises. Don't forget! You can find lots of great upper body suggestions in the Spark Fitness area.
