VERY impressive! I have to admit the virus constraints have knocked the wind out of my workout sails. I get out for 3 mile walks here & there. But still keep up with healthy food choices and maintaining my weight loss.

Thanks for sharing your inspiration! I know I'd better start ramping up my workouts if I want to enjoy getting back on the bike this spring!

With snow on the ground here I am doing resistance work to improve my strength.
Today is my 84th birthday so I thought I would share my current workout programme. I do my 10 for 10 warm up first. My resistance workout consists of 6 exercises, squats, overhead press, standing pulls (back), standing close grip press outs (triceps), standing wide grip press outs, (chest) and biceps curls. I do 8 reps for two sets of each exercise with 30 seconds between each set. Thirty seconds recovery and I go to the next exercise and repeat the 2 set 8 rep sequences with 30 seconds delay. The standing exercises are done using an anchor point. All exercises are done with varying strength resistance bands appropriate to the successful completion of each exercise. I do this every other day, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday I do the same exercises as isometrics singles with a 20 second hold of each one. Cardio is Nordic walking on isometric days and some resistance days.

It is called WORK-ing out for a reason.

I said getting fit was simple, I did not say it was easy.
