Thanks for the encouragement, BUT, I didn't to much of anything on Saturday (I know these are just excuses - had a morning meeting which lasted till around 1:30 and then my 3 grandchildren came over for a sleepover around 3pm).

Happy to write, I did exercise today (Sunday).....

I'm proud of myself today because I made 6,191 steps. This is great because I realized that I am coming more focused on my health and exercise program. I ate healthy food so this was good. emoticon

I am grateful for our Huddle Group that meets on Tuesday night at the church. We have all became very close since this group was started. We meet, eat (everyone brings something to contribute to the meal), watch a video or just talk and fellowship. We have become like family.

I'm getting back on track and today was a continuing work in progress. Needed to rewrite, reorganize, and review my plans--for me and our home.
Been meeting with bankers about how to proceed with loans/building the house. Of course, we need to sell our current home, so that's a worry, too.

I could have given up, given in this a.m. since I needed to lube the treadmill's belt, but I stuck to my plan and made my step goal by 10 a.m. and finished the exercise session. AND made it to piano lesson on time!

Got a late start on my day. Was going to skip exercising. Again this week. But reminded myself that I'd not have a satisfactory day if I didn't do what I knew needed to be done. Got in 94 minutes by the time I was through. And I'm very satisfied.

I am proud of myself today because:
I have almost finished my work on income tax
I found my fit bit today which has been hiding from me for several days
Still missing my life alert pendelum but I'm sure it will turn up soon. (not doing me much good. Hope I don't fall before I find it.
I got a lot of walking in although I couldn't track it at the time. I will start tomorrow.
I love the Lord and can count on Him for support when I need it.

Tomorrow is going to be even better. Keep Sparking.

I had over 4,000 steps before noon today, and when I went to sync my zip this afternoon, I found it read 7:38 and battery-with-a-line-through-it. Usually fitbit sends me an email that I need to change the battery, but not this time!
So, I started over. Did not reach step goal, but did reach minutes goal. So there.

Doctor's appointment yesterday to go over lab work. Numbers are DOWN! I can get them down further if I do what I know I should be doing. Come the new year, I'll redouble my efforts. Go back in 3 months for more lab work/appointment.

Great you got all that done RS! emoticon Sorry I have been absent! I see lots of new members! emoticon

I lost 4 lbs this week! The reason was all the veggies i ate! I ate about 7cups 8 types of veggies and 3 types of fruits. I also had my carbs and proteins and fats mind you as well. Was more active in my Fitbit challenges too.

Up late last night--husband is Cubs' fan so had to finish the game. So, not as much sleep as usual. Thought about a nap this afternoon, BUT hit treadmill instead. Not only more than met step goal but got in more exercise than usual.

Added more steps this evening since tonight is Chili-Fest around here, so we walked around downtown area.
