BBT Predictions for 2014 - 2015 season

I realize this is an older article but show runner Chuck Lorre says there are no plans to replace the late Carol Ann Susi.

Lots of interesting ideas here, Big Bangers. If Howard and Bernadette break up, is Raj far behind? Hmmm ....?

Rather than have a baby, I'd like to see them start by fostering a kid - and I can see two different story lines out of that; one if they foster a nerdy kid and the guys keep playing with the kid's nerdy toys; conversely, if they foster a kid that's athletic and totally un-nerdy and they have no idea what to do with the kid.

I HOPE Howard/Bernadette DON'T have a baby. THAT is the "KISS OF DEATH" to sitcoms!

There seems to be a LOT of tension/friction btwn them. Maybe they will break up (at least for a WHILE).To ME.......THAT would be preferable to a kid!

Penny & Leonard need to string along their engagement for AT LEAST another season.

the only things i see happening are the wedding plans for Leonard and Penny and possibly Bernadette and Howard having a baby.

She was just great.

I'm so glad they honored her at the end of the show tonight! She DESERVED IT!

She had some REALLY GREAT LINES......Like the time she yelled to Howard:
Who's there? Are you a SEX CRIMINAL?

I yell that to MY HUSBAND ALL THE TIME when I hear him at the door! LOL

I hope they acknowledge her death on the show. She was a big part of its success.

Yes....they ARE returning to Thurs., after THURS. night NFL stops. Their first Thurs. show will be Oct. 30. YAY!!!!!!!!!

I did see on this week's episode that they did the blurb on the next episode being the last one on Monday; hopefully next week they'll prominently announce it returning to Thursdays.

BBT returns to Thursday nights starting November 6th, I do believe.

PS Don't try checking unless you're looking on CBS.com, and they don't have it. Seriously, just about every other site I looked at hit me with popunder ads and decided I really, really wanted to have my Internet crawl while they served me an ad for Top Chef.

I don't think they ARE going back on Thurs. night. I wouldn't MIND, tho. THAT was how WE FOUND BBT a few yrs. ago. They started on Mon. & switched to Thurs. We were trimming our Christmas tree & the TV was on CBS. BBT was on & we started paying attention to the TV & we've been HOOKED EVER SINCE! LOL

Amy needs to hire a lawyer and rewrite the relationship agreement with Sheldon.
Raj will finally find someone??? Hopefully!

There is a segment of the population that identifies a little TOO closely with the folks in the magic box in the living room.

I know what you mean! I watch Y&R, & SOME PEOPLE seem to think these characters & S/Ls REALLY EXIST! Some people are so DUMB!!!!!

That's very true - a baby in particular is often a go-to when writers run out of stuff to write. The only issue will be if Cuoco-Sweeting or Rauch get pregnant. If either of them do, then the writers and producers will need to decide whether they want either of them pregnant or to cover it all up with large purses and potted plants and sitting at desks. It would really be an issue for Cuoco-Sweeting as her body and looks are a large part of the character, and they might get letters if she's shown drinking 'wine' (News flash for anyone on the planet who thinks that's real wine they drink on the show. It's not) while real-life pregnant. Don't laugh; people write in about the dumbest and weirdest things. When Night Court was on, people would write in and demand that that odd fictional show needed to be more gritty and realistic.

I would like to see MORE of Debbie/Stuart! I think THAT is funny!
Raj's parents seem to be ON THE "OUTS", so I don't know if we will see them again.
Too bad.....I always LIKED THEM!
Raj is doing O.K. w/women. I hope it continues.
I don't know if we will ever see Leonard's or Sheldon's mothers again. I like them, too.

I think the show would "JUMP THE SHARK" if:
Sheldon/Amy slept together.
Penny/Leonard got married.
Howard/Bernadette had a baby.

They could do ALL of that in the LAST show of the LAST SEASON!
SOOOO many shows go "down" when they introduce babies. Look at what happened to ALF when Kate had Eric. It's NOT GOOD! When they introduce kids & too many other characters, it gets BORING! I hope that won't happen to BBT!

I think Penny will do great as a salesrep once she adjusts and settles in. Amy will tire of Sheldon's lack of physical affection and do something drastic. Leonard will tell his mother off, and Howard will knock up his wife; she won't be sure she's ready to be a mom. Raj will continue trying to find the right woman, but won't regress to his non-verbal status. And the Debbie and Stuart thing will be lots of fun - maybe we'll finally see Debbie!!

So - this season - what does everything think will happen? I think we can count on Penny/Leonard wedding plans but not necessarily the ceremony itself. They might want to put that off for next season or at least until 2015, I'm thinking. Plus she mentioned her mother - will we meet her? Will we ever learn her real last name?

What about Howard and Bernadette? Will there be a little Wolowitz in the future? And what about Debbie and Stuart? That's got the potential to creep out Howard even more.

Will Sheldon and Amy take it to another level? I'd love to see HER parents. I bet it'd be really funny for her to take Sheldon home to meet them.

What about Raj? Does he keep his current girl? Do his parents interfere? Does he regress and stop talking to women?

Of course there's more than relationship stuff. Will the fellows make some sort of a breakthrough? Will Leonard's mom finally respect him? How will Penny do in her new job as a pharmaceutical sales rep? Will there be an earthquake or a Star Trek convention or some other weird monkey wrench thrown in?
