Hanging in at 240-243 pounds. A long way from my starting 290.4 but loads more to toss away, one pound at a time.

Here is a post by Coach Jen this Monday morning:

Hi everyone!

I'm writing an article about why you don't necessarily have to tell others about your weight loss goals in order to be successful. In your own experience, what have been the pros/cons of telling people that you're going to try to lose weight?

We talk a lot about having a support system, but are you someone who feels like you are on a very private journey? If so, I'd love to hear from you! How do you field questions and deal with people who might notice a change in your behavior/routine?

Please send me a SparkMail and your comments might be shared in my article. Thanks for your help!

Got down to 259 last week but couldn't hold on there. Back up to 261 this week. Goal for January doctor appointment is to be in the 250s. Have to get there and stay there!

Stress for me, too, Leah, so I understand.

10/6 = Back up to 261

10/13 = Skyrocketing to 264. Ugh.

Talked about a new goal with doctor on the 6th to lose 10 pounds before my next appointment January 18. Three months. Have work to do to get there. Need to lose the pounds since that last visit, too.

Re-grouping... had very stressful September(and October so far!), and weight has been least of my concerns...
Will weigh in and face the music tomorrow. emoticon

Down to the 260 mark yesterday. Next goal is 257 by October 1 when it will be time for annual physical.

During Wednesday's doctor appointment, was down 7 pounds from last visit in June.

One pound at a time. emoticon

Lost the pound gained last week and another 3/4ths of one. The scale is almost to the 260 mark, my average for this coming year. Yeah, right.

Much stress and long hours into the early mornings editing a book assignment so daily calories jumped as I convinced myself i was hungry when it was just the pressure to finish this that led me to overeat.

As a result, gained a pound. Darn it.

Ever hopeful for this week.

In spite of today being the only day in the last seven I have gone over my daily calorie maximum, my weight stayed the same at 261.

Maybe a loss next week.

Hi all,

Just as we have a post for our weekly bowling scores, it's time to also focus on the team's topic of weight loss.

Every week I invite you to post either your actual weight or just your loss, or gain, for the week. emoticon

We can ask for help, offer encouragement, success tips, post exercise videos, and more as we aim for a weekly loss of one pound emoticon . Like shooting for a 200 game, we may not get there every week but we need a goal to aim for.

Are you with me? emoticon

Leah, are you ready? emoticon

Let's do this!
