It takes a lot of resources to use Adobe products. I hope you can get our #1 computer fixed so you can play more.

I think it is LR and was just mistyped. I have seen it a few times since then as LR. If I could get my 1st laptop fixed I could use something that they talked about on Shutterbugs that is like Photoshop. That is if I could figure out how. But there isn't anywhere to put it on this one.

Are you sure it isn't LR? That would be Light Room. Adobe products are expensive and memory hogs. I use it on a designated computer and pay monthly for it 9.99. I love it but it isn't the only one out there. You would need much more RAM and memory to use it.

I can't figure out what the editing software is without putting in a memory card and opening it. There is something called phototastic collage or something like that on here and Paint 3D, but that isn't it. It is some kind of free Windows program. I've used a couple others before, but have 64 gig total memory on this computer, so I can't add programs.

I'm going to have to go on that photography site and see what it has in the files. That might tell me what LN is.

I don't know what LN means unless it is logarithm and if it is that is weird. Of course I am pretty good with PhotoShop (I should be I take weekly classes and have for 5 years.) Truth is I find many of the FB groups to be pretentious. Kind of like they are trying to impress. I don't know what editing software you use but you don't need expensive software to take marvelous images. Hugs - Carol

I found that changing phones lost my mechanic's phone number, so used Facebook messenger to try to get hold of him. Otherwise I will have to drive over there after church. Don't know how long it will take to get a reply from him since he isn't on FB very often and usually when he is out of town.

I have found art information on FB some. I kept getting emails from a photography training place and when I wrote back to them I was told they had a FB group that might give me more help since the places that give lessons are all on newer, more expensive cameras than what I have. So I joined that group. Now if I can just figure out those editing things they are talking about and what they mean by some things they are doing with them. I know what PS stands for, but anyone know what LN is? Right now all I have is what came with the computer and this computer really doesn't have room to add any other kind of editor.

I am on Facebook and can get a lot off of it. Like different treatments for dogs with lymphoma like I am searching for now (and I need to get a couple things made that I've found on there). I originally joined because it was the only way I could see what was happening with my relatives. They don't call or write (even email or text) usually, but I know now that one of them does volunteer work in Africa sometimes, one had his own laser sign business and is now working at a place for the homeless or something like that, one has 2 little boys. Got connected with cousins on my Dad's side, too.

If they put out too much negativeness I just hide the post.

I was an early Facebook user, and I kept bugging friends for years to join. It took 5-8 years and finally a lot of them were online - but it really didn't get used the way I had hoped, as a way for me to get to know people in spite of my deafness (since I don't easily call and understand people on the phone.). Well, I guess I got to "know" people - they aren't as interested in me as I thought. Oh well.

In the meantime, I got to where I was spending more and more time in SparkPeople - far less negativity and "drama" than what I see on Facebook.

So these days, with Facebook, I can pretty much take it or leave it...

She girds herself with strength, And strengthens her arms.

I have a Facebook account initially I used it only for contact with my grands. I now have a number of friends on it and we all check in regularly.

I actually don't like all the negativity and political posts. Too easy to get caught up in it. One of the things I love about SparkPeople is how kind it is. Very nurturing. My fave social media.

Do you use Facebook? What are the pros and cons that you encounter?
