I'm not an entertainer, but I do tend to take families in that need time to get back on their feet. It's a blessing and a curse ;)

Do you prefer to be warm or cold?

I almost never do. BUT... I received a Journal for Christmas, so next year I want to take a few moments each day to jot down thoughts, problems and blessings that I have running through my head.

Do you do much entertaining or "hospitality"?

I'll wear red and green one day, candy cane earrings the next day, blue and silver beaded top, also a brooch that says Jesus Is The Reason For the Season... I had better go locate that one B4 it's too late.

Have you ever made your own wreath (or swag)?

My husband is traditional, it'll be ham and all the fixings. When I was younger we would have frozen lazagna. The men didn't want to make the women spend all their time in the kitchen.

Have you made a snow angel this year?

When I was growing up, we opened on the 25th. When I first got married... it was the 25th. With this partner, he opens with extended family on Christmas Eve. As we visit his sister & family, we will open stockings on the 25th while they open their gifts.

Open presents Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?

As a child, we opened 1 present each on Christmas Eve, but all the others (and the stockings) had to wait until morning.

I am beginning to get out on Christmas Eve to share time with my sweetie's side of the family. They have a buffet potluck dinner and we have drawn names to buy one gift each. This year we will be staying over!

I was a smoker. Then God delivered me. Then I walked away from church and serving the Lord and picked it up again. God graciously set me free again ten years ago and I've never looked back. I am so thankful for His faithfulness!

We enjoyed a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at a neighbour's home. It was turkey, dressing, gravy and mashed potatoes... but she added cabbage rolls to honour her heritage! (Up here in Canada, we celebrate Thanksgiving around October 10)

I am! I don't believe in coincidence. A friend who knows how sad we've been over losing Moe called me. She and her husband knew I'd been talking about wanting a medium or long haired orange cat. I've always had gray or black cats, sometimes with white mixed in. They saw a litter of kittens on CraigsList about 10 minutes from my house. All four are orange and furry and adorable. They emailed me the link so I could look at it while on the phone with them. Before we hung up, emailed the owner of the pets. I no sooner hung up with my friends than the phone rang and it was that lady. lol I said WOW that was fast! She said I know! I just posted that minutes ago. So tomorrow we're going to look at her babies and may have a new kitten to love. God so answers prayers!! I put it in His hands about getting a new kitten and just did not feel a compulsion to rush off to the animal shelter, which is what I would normally do. What a blessing that He loves every part of us, even our desire for a pet!

Question: Will you host Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends or will you be visiting someone else for the holiday?
