That's a great way to build consistency. I have had a series of injuries and illnesses that have forced me back to the beginning - no - even further than that. So I'm taking it slow and not getting discouraged.

Last year, about this time, I picked up running. It peaked with a Spartan Sprint in September. I haven't really run since that event. In June last year, it took me 40 minutes and 52 seconds to complete a 5k (my first!). It took me about two hours.
I'd like to reduce those times.
For now, I'm doing 5k a day, so long as it's 1 hr or less. Doesn't matter how slow aside from the threshold.

Remember, we do this to wake up excited, and fall asleep satisfied.

Sleep Long, Get Strong, and Keep On Keepin' On!

The reason I do all this is because I want to make the world a brighter and more enjoyable place. I deserve that and the world deserves that.
