Cierapoet sounds like you & MayBaby will be very busy, getting things ready & cooking. Well, I will start tonight & hopefully we can have Thanksgiving around 2pm? My daughter has to work & her husband will probably take the baby & go to his parents. So its just me, my husband & my 2 sons. We might get out to visit my cousin, my bestfrieds & brother & his wife always have full house. So I will try to do legs & glutes which is one of my ALL time favs of Cahte!!

Keep up with the Shimmy Ciera, I love the dance programs that they have on ONDEMAND, you should try it!

Thank you May and Baby for acknowledging my birthday. I can't wait. emoticon

I plan on cooking for Thanksgiving and I will even do my cardio on that day. I am going to be good because I have a goal to meet and I can't let nothing stand in the way. It's food. Holidays should be like any day. We can't overdo, even then. But I will still have fun because I will have a house full of males, well my Nephew's girlfriend may come over...if they are not at work. So many of these stores will be open on Thursday. My teenage son has to work at Garden Ridge on Thursday. I'll have 2 grown men left if they have to leave. Plus there's Prince...my nieces little crazy puppy. He's of age now and she's at college so he has to stay here with us. My sister is away training to be an inflight supervisor for Flight Attendants. They will even train on Thanksgiving. I guess I have the chatter box. emoticon

Ok, I walked for 45 mins today I think that was 180 calories and belly dance with Shimmy and that was 210 calories burned. I'm sorry but I can't help to shimmy with Shimmy. I better get back with Sharon before I forget who she is. Dancing has my eye now.

Hi Everyone!!

I forgot to put on my HRM, but I've been cleaning ALL DAY!!! Well..except for a hour when I had to meet a client. I'm too tired to workout, so cleaning and cooking is just going to have to be it for the next couple of days.

I'm going to be running around like a crazy person tomorrow, so I probably won't have a chance to check in. If not, I will catch up with you all on Friday.

And if I can't get back on here before then Cierapoet....HAPPY B-DAY!!!

Welcome to the team all newbies!!

I didn't get a chance to do my morning workout but I did walk an hour 208 calories burned. I will get a chance tonight to do Cathe Kick Punch & Crunch 967 calories burned! High energy!!

Hey Maybaby!! I know you & moms got the house smelling of cakes & pies!! So resist!! Don't over do it with trying to workout & cook & clean too. You know you can log house cleaning? Its not much but as much as I know you doin, if you're sweatin' you are burning calories. Put on your monitor & let me know what you get?! God bless & Happy Holiday to ALL!

Sorry! I've been a little out of it! I do couch 2 5k 3 days/wk on those days I do a 1/2 hour FitTV show, on the other days I do 2 1/2 hour FitTv shows. I really like Sharon Mann and Gilad. I'm not good at accurately logging in my activity from the shows on here. I do the best I can and I log my runs in too.

Today I made it my cardio rest day. I did start the morning stretching. I also worked on my lower body trying to firm up these skinny legs. I don't think a person burns too many calories but I want my legs to not become more twiggy looking as I lose more weight. I plan on walking before I start my day on Thanksgiving/My Birthday and I am so excited!

Hi CIERAPOET!! I'm glad you joined in!!!

I will have to try Shimmy. I keep saying I will, but haven't gotten around to it yet. LOL!!!

Today I didn't get a chance to workout until late, so I did Cathe's Low Impact Circuit Training. 65min and burned 700 calories.

This week is going to be kind of tricky trying to get the house together, clean, cook, etc. for Thursday. But I'm going to do my best to work it out!! LOL!!

Hello ladies! Ciera's here. I worked out to Shimmy twice on Sunday night. I burned 420 calories. 75 mins of walking burned 380. I love to Shimmy. If you have not tried it you should, you will like it. I just like to dance. I do the moves all through the day. I like moving my hips, which I really don't have any like some. I am top heavy.

Baby Girl, I pray you feel better too. I might change my rest day to later in the week because I love Shimmy and I like to do it on Tuesday nights too. They have a lot of exercise programs on late on Sunday night and I like that. That's probably why I am still up. Well, no work for me anyway. Blessings to you all. Let's see what I can get into today.

I hope you are feeling better. Today was a rest day for me. I was suppose to work out today and take Thursday as my rest day, but Shogun has an upset stomach, so I kept having to take him out last night/this morning. So needless to say, I had no sleep and was dead tired. This week is going to be kind of crazy because mom is coming down tomorrow, so I have a feeling I'll be working out from home most of this week.

We'll see how things go.

MayBaby, I think that right now its just me & you?! Hopefully we will get others involved. Today was a sick day for me but I did do some weights & lots of walking.

You are lucky your mom is helping you out. I was trying to get my daughter to help me since she isn't working but she isn't sure? Anyway, I probably burned 600 calories? We'll hold each other up!! Go Team!!!

Where is EVERYBODY??? I know Baby_Girl and I aren't the only ones here working out!!! We want to hear from all of you!!!

I can't wait until TDay. Mom and I are the only ones doing the cooking so we'll be working it out. I probably won't work out on Thursday. I instead of me taking tomorrow as a rest day, Thursday will be my rest day for this upcoming week.

Today I did Cathe's Low Impact Circuit DVD. This is one on my favorite Cathe DVD's. If you ever buy any of Cathe's DVD's you HAVE to get this one. It's about 65min. and I burned 741 calories.

I can definitely say that over the last couple of weeks my endurance and strength have improved. There is no way I would of been able to to this DVD a couple of weeks ago!!!

Not sure what's on tap for tomorrow. I'll see how I feel when I wake up tomorrow.

Hey MayBaby, the reason why you are so forgetful lately is because its 4 days until TDAY! Girl, its going to be a blast with family & all the good food! Anyway you are right with my borderline blood pressure, I have walk it out once I get to a certain point but I did most of it! Today was Boot Camp & I finished it because I know I need to. Thursday I will try to workout but due to being the only cook here, it will be me & my feet hurt something awful after all evening & early morning cooking. My brother is doing something at his house but my kids LOVE for mommy to cook & with my daughter married & 1 child, my boys & husband can eat a horse! LOL

I love Imax2. It's no joke. If I remember correctly there are about 2-3 segments missing from the FitTV show. (Due to the commercials). I have to build myself back up to that one!! I'm not trying to have a heart attack at 36!!!

Well today I did a 30min kickbox DVD. And forgot to wear my HRM. I've been a complete air head the last couple of days. I'm still sore from that weight class yesterday, so I really wasn't in the mood for alot of cardio today.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more productive. But at least I did something! LOL!!

Hello everyone!

Today I was on the treadmill for 35min. and then I took a weight lifting class for 45min. That class was NO JOKE!! I was dripping with sweat when I walked out of there. Forgot my HRM, so I have no idea how many calories I burned today. But I know it was alot!! LOL!!

We are having TDAY here at my house, and I must say I am NOT looking forward to it. There were only suppose to be 7 people coming, now there are 15!!! SHEESH.... So my mom is coming down here next week, and then we are pretty much cooking everything! UGGGG.... I'm still going to try to workout everyday except for TDAY. And I have to try and behave while I'm at the table!! LOL!!

Maybaby, I know exactly how you feel! I mean, I woke up this morning & felt like I still needed 3 more hours of sleep?! I slept 7 hours so I didn't get a chance to do chest & back on fittv, will do this evening & do some tae bo while watching Ugly Betty & Greys, 600 calories. I did do 60 minutes of walking 270 calories burned. I am looking forward to next week (time off) but then again I am not (cooking & way too much food)?!

I KNOW you are feeling it today!! Boot Camp TWICE?? WOW! Great job!! So you broke down and did Cardio & Weights. Good for you. I get mad just watching it! LOL!! It is one of my least favorite Cathe segments, and I own almost all of her DVD's.

Well....I wasn't in th mood for Jari today, so I did lower body exercises at the gym today. I also walking on the treadmill for 60min and burned 516 calories. I didn't work that hard today. I just couldn't get into it today. Then to top it off my treadmill started making noise. HOW ANNOYING!!! But I was too lazy to move to another one, so I just slowed down and stayed on the same one. Oh well......

I have a treadmill here at home, so I'll probably hop on it tonight while watching Private Practice.

I did challenge myself to do Cardio & Weights today despite my remarks yesterday. It was challenging because I did Boot Camp yesterday morning & last night! I FEEL the burn, let me tell you MayBaby. So I will do some walk/jog, kickboxing & abs this evening!! Lets burn the tootsie roll!

Jari's DVD's are OK. They are definitely different from Cathe. I like Cathe much better, but doing Jari is a nice change. Also check www.deepdiscount.com for Jari's DVDs. That's where I got mine.

By the way I can't stand Cathe's Cardio & Weights. If Imax 2 wasn't on the same DVD I'd get rid of it! LOL!!


Well for todays workout I did the Elliptical Machine this morning and I jogged/walked on the treadmill at home tonight. So I burned a little over 1400 calories today. YEAH!!!! I am really determined to get rid of this fat roll!! LOL!!

MayBaby how is that Jari Love? I wanted to purchase her 1000 calories burned dvd from online @ Walmart but haven't yet.

I did do Cathe Boot Camp, OMG, 925 calories burned!! I am going to try to do her again tonight cause I don't too much care for her Cardio & Weights tomorrow. Namaste emoticon

Yesterday was a BIG work day for me, so I did
90 min walking/jog 478 calories burned
45 min tae bo 456 calories burned
Tonight, will do Gilad & some stretching (30) 376 calories burned.

Baby_Girl I'm tired from just reading all the stuff you did today! LOL!!!

This morning I went to the gym and did 61min. on the Elliptical Machine and burned 631 calories. Tonight I suppose to do Jari Love's Ripped.

As I though, I didn't do extra cardio last night. My darn phone kept ringing and ringing, and I just couldn't get stuff accomplished. So by the time I ate and had a chance for my food to digest, it was just to late, and I was tired. No big deal...At least I got in cardio yesterday morning.

I LOVE Ugly Betty and Gray's Anatomy!! I might have to Tivo them while I do my second leg of cardio.

I'm using a HRM, so based on my height, wt. age,etc, those are the calories it says I'm burning. If I'm burning more...I'll take it!! LOL!!!

Today so far I've done 61min. on the treadmill and I burned 606 calories. We'll see what type of cardio I do this evening. It will just depend on what I'm in the mood for. (If anything).... I got a late start today, so I might be to tired. We'll see.....

Greetings!!!

I'm definitely going to sleep well tonight!! LOL!!

Hello Ladies!!

I hope everyone had a good day today. For my workouts today I did...

60min on the Elliptical Machine. I burned 500 calories per the machine, but we all know the machine is not accurate and I forgot my HRM. Sigh.....

This evening I did Jari Love's Ripped DVD. It's approx 45-50min. and I burned 253 calories. (I had my HRM this time!) LOL....

Eliptical for 30 minutes and burned 350 calories. I also lifted upper and lower body but have no idea how many calories are burned.

Pain is just weakness leaving the body!!!

Hello everyone! Today I did Crunch's Cardio Fat Blast DVD. It's about 50 min. long, and I burned 500 calories. (I found my old HRM..but I'm still getting a new one!LOL) This was my first time doing this DVD and LOVED it!

Baby_Girl,

I'm so glad to see another person who works out to Cathe!!! I LOVE her. I haven't worked out to her in awhile, so I have to work my way back to her workouts! LOL!!

I have to go and buy a new heart rate monitor so I can have an accurate count of calories burned. Just got back in town, so my official workout day starts tomorrow.

I probably burned 1500 calories, with my workout Abs Tammi Webb, Turbosculpt, walking kickboxing & my walking trying to buy some treats for the kids.

Did 50 minutes on recumbent bike to burn 560 calories. Will get in another 40 minutes later on a gazelle to equal 90 minutes for the day and another 400 calories burned. I do this every other day.

OK yesterday I did grocery shopping at 6am!! So I hit Walmart, Ultra Foods & Jewel, later in the afternoon, did Cathe low intensity step aerobics 650!!

I havn't burned any calories today though...unless walking from the kitchen to the computer to the couch counts! ...no, I don't think that will count. I'll post on Monday hopefully!
