Hello Carrie and welcome to the team. My high BP is directly related to my weight. The lower my weight the lower the bp. I'm a 6'2 male (with hypothyroidism) and at 255 pounds I was on 3 meds for HBP. When I got my weight down to 215, I was completely off of the meds. My weight loss plan was dieting and exercise. I have been maintaining for a number of years; watching what I eat and exercising regularly.

As for my sanity, well that been in question for most of my life! lol

I wish you the best.

Hello, My name is Carrie. I am 43 and I am on BP medications due to another medication I have been on for 22 years. My BP has been unregulated for decades so here we are. I am experiencing weight gain and finding it hard to maintain/lose weight and also have my BP in a healthy range. Being diagnosed with hypothyroidism almost 10 years ago and having 2 babies the weight issues were preexisting to the HBP situation. What do you do to keep your BP good while maintaining complete health and sanity? lol. Thank you!! emoticon

Your body isn't Amazon Prime. It takes more than 2 days to get what you want.
