Well, I'm not being a very good example, since I couldn't do my 4DWs yesterday and today will probably be gone too. But what I have learned over the years, that even if the 4 days are not consecutive due to real life inconveniences and problems, that's ok. When I started I was religious about the consecutive nature, but now I accept life happens sometimes. I still strive to get my 4DWs done as quickly as possible.

Well, anyway, Thursday was consumed with FIL, car, and lost phone problems. Sat I'm at a volunteer event all morning.

Will need to add a day or so to these current 4DWs!

As far as 4 Day Win book, I remember using her relaxation technique for a long time and still use it occasionally. Also, it was terrifying, but very useful to do her binge-recreation exercise - and then relax.

Wow, I went on vacation and completely fell off! Thank goodness for 4 day wins, so I can start over and feel some accomplishment in just 4 short days. I'm so glad I found this post! I've also requested the book to see if I take anything else from it.

Welcome SnowTriesIt, I've been doing this for years, and am pretty flexible with it now. So sometimes I skip days if I'm too busy or sick. But I firmly believe in this as a way to change habits!!! ...and what I do now still keeps me improving!
