Wondering if the team is active anymore? It would seem not...

It's now the end of 2018 & I've made some improvements in general, but there's still more to go. Hopefully, by this time, next year, I will be in maintenance!

Since January 2017 I have be dealing with health problems (arthritis in several areas of my body, tendenitis in my shoulders and leg cramps when I walk) and have not been 'moving'. I am still not 100% but must do something.

So this morning I spent 15 minutes on a stationary bicycle at my local Community Centre - it is a start.

Struggling to keep calories within range - meals okay but snacking is my downfall. Think I might have to put up some 'caution tape' as a deterent!

Been confirmed with IBS-D and given a diet by physician: high fiber daily, fresh fruit daily, salad - 5x per week, 6 cups of water (1.5 litres) daily and a probiotic. This seems to be working - yah! However, to get this worked into a daily habit and within my calorie range has not yet become a firm habit.

Ankle still not completely okay but did walk Tuesday and Wednesday with the meetup group. Worked Thursday and Friday but went out before supper and walked over 3 km each day.

My thoughts are with Carolyn0107 and am sending good wishes and positive vibes for a full recovery after her fall.

Well - I may be back to a regular walking routine with my Meetup Group. After my fall the first of March, I have not gone out for long walks, While the ankle is still a little 'ouchy', I tested in with a 3.5 km walk yesterday by myself and then did almost 5 km with the meetup group this morning.

I work with a temp office agency and for the past three years have had the same 2 month assignment at a company - audit project. They changed the way they are doing things so I did not get that assignment this year. However, I worked last Thursday afternoon at the main reception desk (same company) and will be working again Thursday pm and all day Friday this week. Helps to fill up my piggie bank!

I've not eaten well nor exercised today. I will try to use a treadmill tomorrow. I am staying with a couple and got instruction in use of their treadmill this evening.

My accomplishment this week has been to walk three days in a row for a total of 2.5 hours - twice with my Nordic poles.

My accomplishment for yesterday afternoon was to slip and fall - I now have a sprained ankle! No more walking for me for a few days.

My accomplishment today is filling a water bottle and actually drinking plain water!

Carolyn - don't be so hard on yourself - with the schedule you have been keeping, especially with days away from 'home', it is almost impossible to keep all the bits and pieces in control.

Remember - one step and one day at a time.

Lots of points but not a lot of weight-loss to show for it!! emoticon
I do wear a pedometer and have since 2008 but lately I have not been averaging more than 5000 steps a day. Many days less here in the U.S.
I track exercise with the quick tracker method so it doesn't show up on my page but I do track it.
I don't track food but I should.

I was able to keep my weight stable til this past week and I've gained several pounds.

I'm "back on track" today.
