I decided to weigh this morning and holy cow, I lost two pounds! Wasn't even trying. So now, I want to see why that was. What was I doing? Not eating as much fruit is one thing. And not eating between meals and continuing mostly salads at lunch. We shall see. Carol

If I could get my eating as in control as my exercise, I'd be good. Just love food SO MUCH! Also, when it's busy (or not but gone at work all day and bored), it's just had to plan ahead and getting to the store isn't fun either!
I've taken 4 Jazzercise classes this week and 1 Barre class. Today is going to be a NO EXERCISE day! I'm wiped out.

Broke my streak yesterday. Had to take the car for an oil change 30 miles away, when I got back from there, hubby sent me 35 miles away for parts! Pretty much did 130 miles driving in the time span of 4 hours! Makes you tired and not want to work on getting your steps! Told him next time, he can do the driving and I'll stay at the shop!

I have the Charge 3 Bev and I really like it. And you can swim with it (I changed my band so I'd have to put the original band back on--but my granddaughter bought one and does). Once you figure out how to start the workouts and stop them, it's pretty cool.

I'm not usually a bike rider anyway so it doesn't bother me that much. If I do my exercise bicycle, I have bicycle on the Fitbit and I start it so it picks it up. On the other hand, hubby talked me into going to the golf course last night with him and his friend. I rode the cart but I also played about 4 or 5 holes. The Fitbit picked up the activity on that and gave me credit for a 23 minute workout.

The weekend was not one of diet and exercise for me either. We are in the shorter second half of the month now. It is time to turn the page and get serious! We have celebrated the finishing dad's business (actually there are a few details left, but I'm essentially done with attorney and accountant--the very stressful part).

After a weekend at my son's house--not doing well. They just didn't have a lot of "good for you" food to pick from. To be fair, their refrigerator is broken so everything is in fridge in garage but then they took us to the really really fancy restaurant with the really really good food and my choices weren't necessarily the best. That mixed with riding in the car for 4 hours Saturday and laying around the house most of the day and then 4 hours back yesterday doesn't give you ANY steps or exercise to speak of!!!! ACK!!!

Thanks ladies, you have all been so supportive. Yesterday, we splurged the calorie budget on a celebration dinner out (no dessert or drinks, but garlic buttered noodles, breadsticks, chicken marsala and salad). I will be back on track today and even plan to skip the treats at the guild event.

Carol--I would have loved to have thrown in the towel, but I can't! We are in it way to deep to start over. I am expecting to hear back from both of them this week. A lot of the confusion multiplies because it is beneficiary, estate and trust work. Essentially, it is like opening and closing three different businesses. At least my brothers are very cooperative and grateful that I am doing this. They have not done any of the work (one can't because of his health), but they are not critical or getting in my way either and that is a blessing. I will still be on good terms with both of them when this is all over--something lots of families can't say.

Walking is going very well. Dieting is not for several days, but I have not bought any of the off list foods and my reserve supply is way down. I have committed to myself not to replace those trigger items. I'm not sure about my quilting goals as those are backseat to finishing dad's work and walking.

Amy, I would have thrown in the towel by now. It seems ridiculous to have taken this long for them to finish the estate. I can imagine the stress you are under. My weight has stabilized at 186.4. This is the weight I have maintained for years except when I climbed to over 200 before BLE. I guess I am doomed to stay at this weight. Maybe I should just embrace it and forget the rest. Carol

I am having problems too. I know it is due to stress and frustration with my attorney and accountant. I have lost lots of sleep over this whole thing and when I am tired, I eat much more than I should. BLE works because it is a low calorie diet that provides you with strict guidelines. The key is commitment to achieving the goal. Carol, perhaps a modification of the BLE plan would provide you with slower weight loss, but it would be something you could commit to. As for me, I am very aware of the mistakes I make with my diet, but I am still under a lot of stress. June so far has not been the best for me. I have had lots of communication with the attorney and accountant this week. The attorney stuff was not good to put it mildly. The accountant is fine, but getting him to actually move forward with things is the challenge with him. Getting the two to work together and stick with the same plan and numbers is a huge problem let alone communicate the same information to me. On the good side, we have deadlines set. I also know all the final steps required. My target date for completion is July 1. I will hang in there until then.

I know I harp on Bright Line Eating a lot but I have seen people lose more than 100 lbs on this plan. Lots of them. Its costly initially but worth the investment to learn how to eat. I am struggling to get back to the rezoom and lose again but I dont know if I will. Carol
