I meant post awhile ago but got very busy with unexpected family. I lost my first 10 pounds of 76. I am now actually down 14 as of this morning.

I've decided to do measurements. Each set of measurements will be after my period ends. I always bloat so bad right beforehand that I don't want to stick to a certain date of the month. This will be close enough. It's gonna feel like forever before next month comes around so I can see if there are any improvements.

For breaking a plateau, I had to add in a different workout for a short amount of time. Once it broke I didn't have to keep it in there anymore.

For me, 50 pounds to lose is water weight. Now I've managed to drop about 30 pounds of that but I'm at a plateau and a bit anxious over it. I've made sure my sodium intake is no more than 2,000 mg a day. I drink plenty of water... 10 glasses a day. I try to work on not eating heavy food. When I do it just sits on my stomach and I don't feel it move until the next day. Not good. Oh, and I walk at a fairly good pace enough to sweat out the toxins, HOWEVER, that next 20 pounds doesn't seem to want to go.

Does anyone have an idea as to how I can get off this darn plateau?

Thank You emoticon

Ahh! Labor Day is over and a new time of year is approaching. When the days will get cooler,
I don't know. Today in PA it is still in the 90's.

I can't believe Labor Day is here already. Summer is almost over. Not looking forward to
the cold weather. I love spring and summer the best.

I found some of my old weight watcher books. Fun looking over them. I got down to my goal weight in 2007. Here it is 11 years later and trying to at least get down some.

Getting older and harder to do.

Looking to keep dinner lite.

Wow! I noticed today that my angles are no longer swollen. Lost another lb. Happy with
that. I hope that others are doing well. Keep at it. Success will come!

Hi everyone, looks like not many people stay on this site. I hope it's not because you gave
up. I need to loose about 50 lbs. to be happy with myself. I was hoping there would be others
here discussing how it's going with them.

I have been back to Sparkpeople for about 3 weeks and I have lost about 5 lbs. Slow and
steady. It's amazing how many calories we consume when we aren't watching.

I've been back on the wagon for a few days and it's going pretty well. Exercising. Tracking my food, which is a big deal for me. It never ceases to amaze me how many calories I've been consuming. Every little snack/bite adds up. I'm a little nervous about the weekend. That's usually the hardest for me. Especially because my boyfriend loves to cook for me, and he's pretty good at it. We are going to have to have a chat about my goals so we are on the same page. His skinny butt can eat anything and not gain, so I have to be careful not to follow his lead.

Hope you all have a great holiday weekend.

Hey there! I'm re-starting with spark. Got in my 20 minutes of fitness yesterday and today. It's harrrrrd getting back to exercising, especially at this weight. Trying to get my 64oz of water today... having to take more potty breaks for sure! I like the idea of treating fitness and nutrition like a job... haven't thought of it like that before. It is as *necessary* as a job for me!

Hello team! Sorry for a boring form letter, but I want all of you to know I am here for you now.

I missed my faithful teams as-well-as my new teams. While on vacation, I do not always have access to Wi-Fi, which explains the absence.

Have you been getting in those 10 minutes? Have you been drinking enough? What is for dinner? Treat fitness and nutrition like a job... You are more than likely to get it accomplished if so. They say to make it fun though. I disagree.

The local library has gotten strict with me about taking out coupons. I may only take out a few circulars instead of all of the circulars. The librarians upset me because if I do not take all of the coupons, the coupons just lay there until the expiration has passed! So, why the big deal if I take them all?

I need to work on a newspaper article. The deadline is soon!

Hopefully, the local grocery store has produce on clearance so I may make some good smoothies. I love the taste of Slim Fast, but it is just not filling. I almost bought a juicer at a yard sale, but the woman wanted $8.00. I refuse to spend more than a buck or two. She would only come down a dollar. So, no deal. I have to use my blender which does not always work as good.
