@MAMAGWEN11 well done on your waist measurement! That's one place that seems to be competing with my hip and bust measurements lately. And to think... my waist used to be way smaller than both. Oh the joke that mother nature plays on us.

Hi everyone! Down a pound since I last posted. I can do better but it's the dang junk in the house that gets me all the time. Been snacking on popcorn made the old fashioned way (with OIL and SALT.. believe me I KNOW). But the nondairy ice cream I was eating had more sugar, fat and sodium. Choosing the lesser of both evils... lol.. baby steps. Keep on truck'n!!

Congrats Izzy! That's how I felt the past few weeks when I was losing about a pound a week for about 8 weeks. I was back up 1.6 Friday: exactly what I was Down the week before!! 🙃

I told myself in Weight Watchers on Friday though that I would not focus on the scale this week. I'm nothing my healthier choices, but also how I feel after crappy good. 👍

Sunday morning again, my weigh-in day. Happy to say that I am 1.85 lbs down week. The sun is out this morning and I'm down again ....... what a great start to the week.

I've done that (eat something useless). For me, it's going back to the mindset of "hey, I'm doing great, I should reward myself" and when I've been rewarding myself with something sweet all my life, that's what I go back to. Remember 'eat your peas and you can have dessert'? I wonder what would have happened if Mom had given me cash instead of a brownie? emoticon

I'm so happy to be losing weight, 30 pounds since September. But I'm just as happy about how I'm feeling. I haven't felt this energized, focused, or creative in a long, long time. But what really has surprised me is that I am no longer having cravings nor am I "grazing" my way through the kitchen every time I go near it. I know that everyone has to find what works for them and what I have found that works for me is the Keto lifestyle.

Hey team! This is a great topic. I've lost almost 8 pounds since Thanksgiving: so about a pound per week emoticon

My goal was to get to Onederland by mid to end of February. But now I think I'll get there by end of January. And I'm psyched! emoticon

Has anyone found that they sometimes get to a point where you're losing steadily or at least had a great weigh in and then turn around and eat a candy bar (fill in trigger unhealthy food choice here emoticon )?

I've been working out pretty hard and regularly as well bicycling/walking every day. I'm eating vegetarian again now (have had some seafood but rarely) and weighing in, getting support at Weight Watchers.

As I mentioned in an earlier message I set a goal of losing 90 pounds by September 2020. When I made this goal I was with my sister and sister-in-law who both made goals of their own and once a week we check in with each other to see how we're doing. Adds a little accountability to the challenge. Well I was happy to report to them this morning that I am down another 1.3 pounds bringing me 32% of the way to meeting my goal. So, so happy.

I started a personal weight goal challenge for myself back in September .... I'm turning 65 in September 2020 and decided when I turn 65 I want to be at my goal weight of 160 pounds. That means a total weight loss of 90 lbs. I'm happy to say that as of today I am 28 pounds down, almost 1/3 of the way to my goal. I thought that the holidays would be my downfall, but I stuck to my plan and stayed on the downward trend throughout and still had a wonderful time. Here's wishing to continued success in the New Year to all of us.

I was disappointed with myself that I was in to the food frenzy for two weeks it took me forever to lose that weight to gain that much made me sick.. atleast 6 # went away fast cause it was water weight now to get the rest gone.. I'm gona do my best from now on .. but dang food can be as addictive as Drugs.. and for the first time I can admit I am Addicted to food🙄🙏

I was so disappointed I stepped on the scale this morning and I was up 9 pounds since December 15. I am refocused as of this moment. I learned to valuable weight loss things in my overindulgence in the last two weeks.
1. I am definitely addicted to sugar.
2. I am a very emotional eater.
3. Being back with my family I went back to familiar bad habits.

Goals for 2020 is to get my addiction under control. To lose 35-40 pounds. To learn to live my life free of addictive eating.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

May 31 219 lbs, today 225 lbs.
This week I will end the month by staying in 1200/1500 calories a day and drink at least 5 cups of water, cardio exercise every day, sleep 8 hours out of 24 daily

Lost three pounds this week.

My last post in this forum was in September. Then I lost my computer and found other excuses and managed to regain 13 pounds (but not quite up to my highest weight). Reconnected with SP a month ago and have to keep reminding myself to stop dwelling on the gain and work forward from where I am now.

my weight has been up and down like a yoyo lately

The very bad arthritic pain I had been experiencing lately on my back, knees and ankles seems to be easing up

Hello, new to this blog thing. I have been on this weight loss journey since July 2018. Starting weight 296 it is 5/25/2019 weight is 210 lbs. I have a goal of 150 lbs. Has anyone since starting a weight loss hit a plateau? I dont want to gain any weight this is hard for me, I am really struggling with this.

I have been on the plan for about 3 weeks, and have lost 2 pounds. Doesn't seem like much, but that moved me from "morbidly" obese to just plain obese on the BMI chart. So those 2 pounds are HUGE for me.

Hi...new to this forum and one pound at a time does it for me! I'm averaging 1 pound per week and 4 to 6 pounds per month. I've been working at weight loss since late August 2018 and have lost about 30 pounds so far.

Let's just keep on keepin' on. Like the turtle who wins the race, one pound at a time.

I hope everyone is happy and well. Richard I'm glad you are out of the hospital. Stay home! It's not a lot of fun to be there during the holidays. I just want to get through without gaining more weight. I'm up about 4 lb. since Thanksgiving. Be well, you can do this.

Home now 3 days after 3 months in hospital. Weight is still going up due to fluid retention emoticon have to make better efforts in sticking to daily fluid allowance. My skin is driving me mad too, as the ointment hasnt been correctly or fully applied, and the skin is like parchment in areas.
I have a busy schedule early next week with followup appointments, the podiatrist and my social group being on the agenda.
