Not great numbers but not so bad either. I shoveled tons of snow today. We got about a foot of snow and while it was beautiful - it was alot to shovel. Great cardio.............

Hoping to have a great week this week with eating and exercise............. kind of like the bootcamp before xmas. Wanting to stay under that 139 number so if I do some damage at Xmas - I dont go over 140 again. I want to stay in the 130's.

Im so happy about all the great posting activity on this challenge............. I see lots of great differentials.

Im already thinking about the challenge for January. Any ideas out there?

Big Christmas party tonight. I have no idea how many calories were in the homemade goodies that were brought. No differential listing tonight, but today was my weigh-in day. I dropped 1/2 pound this week. Still on track due to bigger losses in previous weeks.

Welcome back NJJAZZ! I missed you. And congratulations on your weight loss! Do you think the vegan/vegetarian meal plan for the past week was helpful? For example a large meal with lots of veggies in the evening is still low in calories?

Well I am happy to report a 3 pound loss for the last 2 weeks. I have been away for 6 days with no internet access. Ate fairly sensibly and got alot of walking and hiking in. No exercise classes.
No digital scale either.

This morning when I weighed in - I was a remarkable 136 pounds - a number I havent seen in longer than I can remember.\
I am back to logging in all meals here = but know that eating less - just simply eating less made the difference. I ate 3 squares as they say - not alot of snacking in between and dinner was the larger meal of the day with little exercise after dinner.

Kind of goes against all the rules but I dropped weight. Hoping I can at least keep up with less snacking..............

everyone seems to be doing great........

7 days til Christmas
13 days til year end

I am on track for losing the weight I wanted to by year end........... what a great feeling.

Hello everyone. I am finally home. Was a nice 5 fay vacation to bat Cave North Carolina ( nope - not kidding on the name).

I am so very proud to say I did not gain weight while on vacation............ a real first for me. Did alot of walking and was visiting a vegen so eating was a little restricted but ok. No computer access at all for the whole time I was there.

Glad to be back and will restart logging and posting tomorrow.

this week really isn't working out too well for me... but at least with this challenge I'm staying aware of what's happening and I hope this is curtailing some of the problem... so far this week:

Ho Ho Ho - I deserve coal. Differential for yesterday was +415. I would like to blame it on a Christmas party, but actually I was ambushed by a Margarita and taco chips. Went to dinner with the hubbie after Christmas shopping and just decided to be bad. Oh well, I will make up for it today. I am going to the gym after work. The next couple days will be difficult. I am traveling on business which means working through meals during the day. I am famished by the time I get to a restaurant in the evening. I will try to eat fish, and do the best I can. While I admit that it will be difficult to loose weight, I really don't want to go backwards.

My differentials have been very modest (-234, -138, etc.), but I'm still making progress and I'm very happy about that. I've lost a pound since I started using the reports, which really help. Well, I've decided this time of year is just too busy - have no time to get to the gym or log food items! I know it's probably just an excuse, but I also don't want to drive myself crazy! Just want to enjoy Christmas, not obsess over whether I lost another pound. So...I wish everyone here success. It's been very inspiring to read everyone's daily logs, and, hopefully, after the holidays I will get back into it and drop more weight, but right now I'm just planning to "hold my own," and not worry about it. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!
