I have to wean myself. I'm doing the same with soda and sweets. I'll never go completely off them but working on drastically cutting back. I go into the day telling myself how many pieces or soda I'm allowing myself and some days I won't do any.

for the soda, I find I have to decrease the amount I drink. I've done cold turkey a few times but the lack of caffeine makes me so tired I can barely function. I could drink coffee or tea, but just don't like the taste of them.

I'm working on cutting down on my soda intake. When you try to break a bad habit, do you find it easier to wean yourself off or quit cold turkey?
