50 days smoke free. Things are not going well. I keep wanting to eat everything and I am so angry all the time. I am not sure what to do. I have gained 9 pounds back. It really stinks.

Well it is almost the time of the month and I seem to have found a whole pound that I have lost. I read online that you can gain up to 5 pounds right before your period starts due to water retention and what not. I am hoping that I lose it quickly. I hate gaining. I know I did not exercise yesterday as my vertigo was really bad and even with the medication it did not take it away completely. I am going to have to talk to my doctor and see if I can get the dosage upped. I am feeling better today so I am going to try and get a big workout in today. We will see if the customers cooperate or i am just too busy to do anything today.

OMG I killed it at the gym last night. I did 72 minutes of activity according to my Fitbit and I burned more calories than I ate yesterday. I am so excited for that. I love doing that. It is great.

Today is my only day off for the week. I have so much I have to get done and I have to try and work in a workout at the gym. I am definitely going to try and get it done I just don't know where I am going to fit it in. Maybe a late night gym session will have to work tonight. Who knows. I just know I do not want to go alone and I am betting my son will not want to go with me. I think I am going to have to just make him go with me. I need to work and so does he. He will enjoy it once he gets there.

Today is going good. I think I am getting a cold. My son started with symptoms yesterday and today my eyes are itchy and my nose is running. So I may be heading into a cold. I hope not but you never know. I do feel kinda sleepy today. Hopefully it passes quickly. I don't want this to derail me by making it hard to exercise.

I gained weight yesterday. Almost a whole pound. I didn't drink enough water yesterday and they decided to start eating Keto. I can tell Keto is not for me because I am gaining weight.

GOODFELINE - So glad the daycare is working out well for you. Sorry you hurt your leg. It happens a lot though. I bang mine on something and then am down for a couple days. It hit my knee on my desk a month ago and almost couldn't walk for 3 days.

Congratulations on hitting your challenge goal!

The new daycare is working out well. I hurt my leg Monday somehow, I don't know how, but I haven't been able to workout all week. I was limping and couldn't use the stairs. It's starting to feel better though. I am taking it easy still, but Sunday will test the waters with a few hours walking at the zoo! Then Monday it's back to working out if things go well Sunday.

Enjoy the day care tour. I remember being very selective with my day cares. I really wanted someone who was going to take their job seriously and do the best job they could do.

I didn't make it to the gym, I did homework over my lunch instead. Today I will be touring a new daycare over my lunch, but I will be watching what I eat. Protein shake for breakfast, salad for lunch, and probably chicken tetrazinni for dinner.

Having a great day today. I have done two 20 minute walks so far today and I have also done a 6 minute hips, thighs, and glutes video from sparkpeople. I love it. I feel so motivated. Going to try doing this more often. Maybe the workout video kicked me into gear. I am not sure but I am going to try doing different videos every day.

Thank you. Depending on which disorder he has the treatment would be either a special diet, enzyme replacement, or cleaning his blood. He had his pediatrician appointment yesterday afternoon to see how his lung infection is progressing and they added a nebulizer to help him get better faster. He has been a pretty smiley baby the last few days though so I think he is starting to feel a little better.

Had a rough week last week, my son was in the PICU with a lung infection that led to them discovering he has some sort of metabolic disorder. I gained back 4lbs of the 8lbs I had lost since I was eating hospital convenience food and spending around 12 hours a day just sitting next to his crib holding him. He's home now but will have residual effects from the infection for up to 6 weeks, and has many outpatient appointments for the metabolic disorder. We hopefully find out tomorrow when he can go back to daycare - in the meantime Nana is watching him. I accidentally left my phone in my husbands car this morning, though, so I am super anxious about not being able to check on him.

Things are starting off good today. I got my son's high school transcripts. He will be 15 in September and he wants to get a job right away. He will need his state id so we need to prove residency. That is one of the things they will accept as proof of residency. So we are all set to go. Made an appointment for August 8th to get his state id.

GOODFELNE - That really stinks that they are taking out your park you walk in. Maybe they will put up a trail of some sort near the shopping center once they get it up. It really stinks when you get into a routine and then people change everything.

Leigh: Good job on the walks! I have an office job, too, but don't get up much. Even my lunch is at my desk. When the weather is nice I like to go for a walk through the city, but they're renovating the park I liked to walk through. They're tearing it out and putting a shopping center in, which makes me really sad. I don't think there is anything specific for belly fat, but I know there are medications to help weight loss in general.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I went for a walk on Saturday with my husband and son. It was my sons first time in his stroller and he slept through the entire walk, lol. It got hotter than I expected for the morning so I kept it to one lap around the neighborhood, but it was nice to get outside.

GOODFELINE - Way to go on getting that exercise done. I usually walk laps around the office. I am the only one that works there. Every 2 hours I walk for 15 to 20 minutes depending on how busy I am. So I get in about 3 walks a day. I don't think it is bad and I am still getting my weight down. I do need to hit the gym for some strength training. I need to start toning my belly. It is not really going anywhere. It is a little smaller but I still look pregnant most of the time. That is something I am going to be talking to my doctor about also. Maybe there is something I can take that will help me burn some belly fat.

Leigh: Congratulations! That's an achievement to be proud of!

VIISALOSER: Way to go on getting to the gym! I didn't want to work out today but forced myself to go around 7:30. I'm sure we're both glad we did emoticon

Well, they couldn't complete the hearing test on my little one. He was too congested so his breathing was too loud. The results they did manage to get show he's still got mild to moderate loss, though, so they scheduled him for another test in September. The ENT noticed he has super tiny ear canals so that could be a problem in trying to test him, but she also made some suggestions to clear up his congestion so we'll see if September goes any better.

I have lost 3lbs this week! I hope I keep losing like this, it's so nice to see the scale inching downwards instead of upwards. Next week I plan on boosting my workouts with videos. I took it easy this week by just working on the recumbent bike since it's my first week back to working out, but I'm going to do some standing exercises next week and we'll see how that goes.

GOODFELINE - Thank you for explaining... when I read LEIGHSDRAGON2's question I was stumped on how to reply. I had to laugh at your mention of Mercury in Retrograde, I have been saying that all week.

LEIGHSDRAGON2 - I am so proud of you! You are amazing and inspire me daily.

I am sorry I have been a little flaky this week. I have been fighting with my junior college. They made me so angry, I decided to transfer to the University early! So needless to say I have been running around throwing random paperwork at people.

I WENT TO THE GYM AT SIX THIS MORNING!

I didn't think I would make it but I did. A friend of mine is a member too and we have decided to go together. I don't know why but I won't go for myself; I am more likely to go if someone is meeting me.

I am still doing Intermittent Fasting I an going to try it for a couple more weeks and see if it makes a difference. I hope everyone has a great day!

Leigh: Definitely do! All her videos are great, she's so flexible and fun while still giving a great workout. I own a bunch of the DVDs but you can find them on YouTube, too.

Mercury is currently in retrograde, which could probably explain why the daycare has lost our registration paperwork twice. We had to fill it all out for the third time this morning! They have a new director who appears to be less organized than the previous director.

I am looking forward to this weekend and the weather possibly cooperating with taking baby out in his stroller. He's so sleepy after daycare I want to just let him rest, but I think it would be a nice treat on the weekend rather than just staying on the couch all day. He's got his playmat, but he hasn't experienced much outdoors beyond going to and from the car. It should be fun.

Tomorrow we see the ENT and audiologist for a physical exam and a fourth hearing test to see if we can determine if little ones hearing loss is permanent or not, and perhaps locate a cause for it. He's had a lot more awake time lately and he has to sleep for an entire hour for the test so we'll see how that goes. He seems to be hearing better - he certainly notices the noise at daycare! - so maybe the test results will be good.

Hubby and I wanted to go see Lion King on the 4th for our anniversary, but all the theaters stop playing it on the 1st. Our favorite theater only has two (not so great) movies playing that day, so we're still trying to figure out what we want to do. I am fine with staying at home, but I think he wants to get out and do something since we've been so homebound lately.

Hi everyone! I haven't been in this group in awhile. I lost 171lbs and left. But I got pregnant last year and gained 70lbs then gained about 10lbs after giving birth in May so here I am looking to lose a substantial amount of weight again. I am hoping it comes off quickly!

Leigh: As Leslie Sansone loves to say, "Tuck that tummy in!". Engage your abs by sucking your stomach in and keeping them tight! She has a great belly blaster video you might consider checking out. I love it, and it definitely helped shape my waistline.

We had storms and rain on Sunday, but yesterday was beautiful. Last week was awful with a heat index of around 115 most days, but this week is looking much nicer. High 70s and low 80s, with one day peaking at 91. I'm hoping to take advantage this weekend and introduce my baby to his stroller.

We got a flat tire last night so no exercise this morning, but since school hasn't started yet I can go down to the gym on my lunch break and ride the recumbent bike. We didn't get to go grocery shopping last night because of the tire so I have some higher calorie frozen meals for lunch instead of my usual salads. But I drank a protein shake for breakfast this morning so hopefully it balances out.

VIISALOSER - How do you engage your abs during walking. I have no clue but would love to try. I need to lose my belly. I am losing weight and inches but the belly seems to be staying. So far I have lost a lot on my hips and my butt. Not much around the waste. Although it might get better if I actually do some crunches.

A friend of mine told me that if you engage your abs while walking or doing the elliptical it's as good as any crunches. She was also a huge proponent of weight lifting which I plan on doing once my back is sorted out.

I went to see my mom this weekend in Austin and my dog and I walked all over. I was sweating like a beast but the heat index was over 100.

Got my walk in yesterday. It felt so good to be out there walking. It is a lot different than walking in the office though. I can tell you that. I was sweating half way through my walk outside and I don't usually sweat when I walk around the office. It could be because of the air conditioning at work though as to why I don't sweat.

VIISALOSER - I am not going to let it get me down. I am sorry your work has been super stressful lately. Hopefully things will calm down there. Stress doesn't do anyone any good. It is nice when you notice you are gaining muscle. I try not to pay attention too much to the scale but I weigh myself every day to make sure I am losing. My new jeans are fitting a little loser now too. I just need to start doing crunches or sit ups to get my stomach toned. I need to get rid of this belly fat that won't seem to go away.

That sucks! Don't let it discourage you. I hate it when doctors or nurses dont listen to their patients. I hope you get it sorted really soon.

Work has been super stressful lately. I have been good and havent stress eaten but boy did I want ice cream today! I must be gaining muscle because my clothes are looser but when I got o the scale there hasnt been a change! I wanted to go to the gym tonight but I am going to settle for a quick walk before I watch the Bachelorette. Its my guilty pleasure.

On Wednesday I called my doctor to get a refill on my medication. Because this doctor has never filled this medication before she called me and told me that in stead of taking my water pill twice a day she only wants me to take it once a day. It really ticks me off. Now the last couple of days I have put a little weight on because I am not taking the same dose so I am retaining more water. It really stinks.

WOOHOO! That is amazing.

I finally joined Planet Fitness! I hope they have a scale there. I still havent purchased a new one :/

A fried of mine has been intermittent fasting and has gotten to me to try it for at least a week to see how I feel. I have digestion issues so its a good idea.

Today was the first day (I fasted from 930pm-1230pm) it wasnt that bad.

The humidity is killer! Its what makes it so hot here. Well I guess I better get back to watching the clock. I am going to get all of my gym stuff together after work and try to go work out. If not, at least I will be ready tomorrow morning.

VIISALOSER - I hear ya on the more sleep part. I am tired today. I am praying you are not hit with a tropical storm. Just a regular storm would be better. All next week we are suppose to have really high humidity and heat in the 90's. Yikes. I try to stay away from caffeine if I can help it. I have trouble sleeping when I drink it. WOOHOO THAT IS AMAZING!

I walked for almost an hour yesterday. It was great. I only took my dog for part of the walk because its very hot here (heat index is 110) and she's still young.I was so tired last night I only had a protein shake.

We may be hit by a tropical storm this weekend so I am trying to get everything ready for that.

I am drinking tons of caffeine today. I could have slept for four more hours.

So I went to the jeweler yesterday because my ring is practically falling off my finger. I went from a size 9.5 down to a size 7.5. That is a great NSV. Now I am going to have my ring resized.

Viisaloser _ Unfortunately I am the only one that works at my office. My son gave me his knife to carry. I am going to be getting more pepper spray. Mine expired so I threw it away. I notified the bank this morning and they are looking into it and notifying the proper people.

Well I almost got robbed last night. I was taking the deposit to the bank and I got out of my car and started walking to the drop box. Some guy started walking towards me and talking to me. I dropped the money in the drop box really quick and started walking back to my car. He was right there beside me when I got to my car and he started asking for money. I told him I didn't have any and got in my car quick and left.

That sounds like me all weekend. Well actually yesterday I did some heavy duty cleaning so I guess I didnt spend all weekend lounging.

I have not been walking as much as I should be because its so darn hot. I am going to take my dog for a walk tonight. At least for 20 mins.

LEIGHSDRAGON2 - Wishing you all the luck in sales and payments!

We have been having major plumbing issues at the house so I have been trying to get that fixed. Last night the faucet just came off the tub. I wish I could convince my grandmother to move!

I hope everyone is able to stay on track this holiday. I am lucky. I don't eat meat so I usually bring my own plate to bbqs anyway! This year I am taking a veggie burger and black bean/avocado/corn salad.

Today is going to be a great day. I am ready for it. It is the 3rd of the month so people are getting their money from social security. I should sell a lot of policies today and take a lot of payments today. I also have to try and get in some requoting and my walking today. It needs to get done. I am going to try my best.

Went swimming yesterday after a family cookout. It was nice to get in the water. It was really warm in the lake. It was so nice to be swimming. It felt like forever since I have swam in a lake. I always felt too fat to swim around.

Viisaloser - Thank you. He does really good. Although for some reason he won't mow the lawn. He hates it. To be honest though that boy cannot mow a straight line to save his soul. I usually do the mowing. However, he does laundry and straightens the house while I am at work. So I don't mind mowing. Tell your Nana Happy Birthday. Hope she really enjoys the watermelon. I know I would.

That is a sweet boy you are raising!

I have a window unit that is barely holding on. I just pray it will last the summer and I can replace it at Christmas time.

Today is way better. Last night I babysat my niece and nephew and had a blast. They are 4 and almost 7 and those are the best ages. I am still the coolest person in the world.

Tomorrow is my nana's birthday. I think I am going to get her a watermelon and cut it into a cake shape. She is trying to eat healthy to and honestly loves watermelon more than cake!

I am doing pretty good this morning. Spent the evening in my bedroom where the air is at since my central air quit working a couple years ago. I just haven't had the money for someone to come look at it. So we are using an window air conditioner. It was nice and cool in there last night. My son putt it in the window for me while I was at work. He is a nice young man.

So, I cannot weigh myself because my scale is not working! So frustrating. I don't know if it is broken or if it is just a battery issue. Does anyone have any scale recs?

Yesterday, I was really proud of myself. I had a really bad day (boss yelled at me, dog put shredded paper towels/toilet paper EVERYWHERE and my fibromyalgia was excrutiating) and I did not emotional eat! I was so close to stopping at the store to get chips and ice cream, but I didn't. I went home and took a walk with my mischievous dog and made a healthy dinner.

Well maybe if we keep it up we can inspire others. The good news is that illness and injury didn't cause me to gain any weight, I didn't lose any either lol.

I had oat milk for the first time today. It was so good. Definitely worth the price if you have a dairy issue like I do.

Is it bad I am already counting down to the weekend?

Viisaloser - So sorry about your back. I am glad you are on the mend. I haven't hit it yet but I am 200 pounds exactly. So I am hoping when I step on the scale tomorrow I will be out of the 200's. It all depends on how much I do today. I am going to work hard today. It is nice to finally have someone to chat with in the team again. I think we are the only 2 active people on here.

I am sorry for being MIA. I hurt my back on top of my sinus infection and I was laid up for a week and a half. Now I am playing major catch up on work.

Saw the doctor today. She said the amount of weight I have lost is "Fantastic" and my A1C is now in normal range. No more pre diabetes. I am never going to be there again. That was really scary. Also my blood pressure is down. That is good too. Although I never have really had a hard time with my blood pressure. I am so happy. I could just cry.

I decided to try and get less sleep. Last night I slept 6.5 hours and I feel great. I know you are suppose to get 8 but at 8 hours of sleep I feel exhausted when I wake up. I feel better today. I am also 8 pounds away from being in Onederland. Isn't that great. I am excited.

That's awesome. I would probably still be staring at the machine. I am awful with those things.

I am going to try to take the afternoon off today to do some neglected house stuff and take my dog for a walk. I haven't taken her as much as I usually do because I have been sick and I feel bad.

Viisaloser - No thankfully I did not have to wait for a new machine. I guess some of the machines were not handling the new update well. When I called they even had a message saying they were aware of the problems and it was a simple fix. The lady I spoke to said I was the fastest person she had doing it. Others took a couple times to get it right and I got it right the first time.

I absolutely hate those credit card machines. I never know how to use them correctly. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.
