Well I have lost 58 lbs so far. My goal is to focus more on the fit of my clothes and to continue eating healthy and working out.

Are you new to the healthy lifestyle game? or maybe just haven't been around for a while?

Here are my personal recommendations---

1--take pictures with a front, side, back, a face closeup. emoticon

Why--sometimes that darn scale doesn't want to move, but those pictures don't lie. On days when I am most discouraged, or having those mad crazy cravings, I review my photos. I remind myself I don't want to start all over.

2--measure yourself emoticon

Why--again for when that scale doesn't move. Sometimes your body is working hard on building muscle, not losing fat. So the scale won't move, but the inches will DROP

3-Write down what clothing size you are for your shirt, pants & shoes. emoticon

I know it seems weird, but I have lost 1/2 size in my feet=)

4-Make sure you have measuring cups and spoons.

5-Get a glass or 2 that are the same and measure them. This will give you an accurate measurement of how much water you take in. emoticon

I have 2 20oz red glasses that are mine. They are all that I use, unless I am at the gym, then I have a 20oz water bottle.

6--Finally-weigh yourself, then figure out your 5% goal.
I am sure that you have your BIG goal in mine, but starting with that first 5% will give you a perspective, as well as being able to achieve a GOAL!! emoticon

Now you are ready to go and have a great NEW YEAR!!!

Goal 1000 fitness minutes/month!

I may not be to the finish line yet--but at least I am in the race!

A healthy me is up to ME!!!!!
