Thanks for the comments everyone.
I'm taking one day at a time and using the tracking to keep me accountable for what I eat.
I'm hoping it will help when I feel that snacking monster come.

Heather I know this is a very hard time for you with all that is going on, but you need to find something that keeps you going. Weather it be volunteering for a charity knitting sowing or gardening (that might be hard if you live where there is snow) but find something that will give you the push you need to get up and keep going.

You will find a job if you keep searching for that too there is going to be something out there for you to do as there is for everyone. I try to focus on life with a positive spin not the negative aspect I know that is hard at times even for me but I have found that when I do that I totally make better choices all around and my mental attitude stays better along with my overall health.

The road to success is not straight. There is a curve called Failure, a loop called Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights called Enemies, caution lights called Family. You will have flats called Jobs. But, if you have a spare called Determination, an engine called Perseverance, insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called Success.

I've been struggling too. I managed to lose 95 pounds (using SP) between January 2010 and July 2011, but then I hit a 3-month plateau and "fell off the wagon" in October 2011. By March of this year, I had gained all the weight back and have been hovering around the same number since then. I still don't have the motivation I need, but I really need to lose this weight.

Some advice that I've been telling myself...

-Don't give up! Eventually something will happen to give you the motivation you need.
-Set small goals and start slow.
-Keep a weight-loss/health journal. If you want some accountability, use your SP blog.
-Find friends that'll support and encourage you.

Good Luck!

~Christine

I was doing well from April 2012 until August 2013. I lost like 60lbs and had the motivation and will power to not want to munch. I was starting to feel so good and then that July I found out I was pregnant (surprise) and then that August I had a miscarriage. That completely destroyed me. I felt like I had no one to talk to and my husband just went on like it was nothing. I know it bothered him, but he didn't show it. I became depressed and I had no motivation or will power anymore. It seems like ever since then, I have just been stuck and can't seem to come out of it. I want to and I need to, but it is just hard. I have gained back 30 of those 60lbs I lost. I just started coming back to this page yesterday, and I am really hoping I can get my motivation back and that I can start to lose the weight again. I really need to.

I had made goals for myself and I was close to reaching my lastest goal when life went upside down.
I lost my job.
I tried to keep myself going but admittedly the loss of the job was stressful and making me feel very depressed.
I ended up with a new job for over a month and I'm struggling to get back on track.
The snacking I picked up during my depression and the holiday has made things difficult.
Any advice how to recapture the motivation?
