I totally know what you mean jenisdoingthis! Its so nice to be able to bend or stoop down without really having to work at it! This is why I am so adamant about stretching and doing a bit of yoga here and there, as I didn't realize how much flexibility was truly lost when I gained so much weight & just the flat out inability to bend because of my gut! It truly is the little things!

This may sound silly but my tangible goal is to be able to stoop or squat to tie my shoes or pick something up off the floor. lol It's the little things that people take for granted.

Hat-Wright, if you're on Netflix, you should be able to get Dr. who. Be warns, it's addictive! For awhile I would only let myself watch episodes if I was on the treadmill.

I am in a similar boat...hubs and I do 18th century re-enacting, and I think my "kit" is pretty accurate, but sometimes I get some weird looks like, "how can you be a starving refugee if you weigh so much?" I'm looking forward to buying less fabric. Natural fibers get expensive quickly. I'm looking forward to having more energy and keeping up with the younger members of our unit.

Ok so I honestly have no idea what you guys are talking about. We don't watch a lot of TV, we don't have time. However, we do have NetFlix and my family is currently working it's way through GLEE, and I do like to watch Ally McBeal on my IPAD when I have down time.

Some of my Tangibles are buying clothes in regular stores--I just accomplished this for workout wear at Kohl's =) I probably need to get measured for a new bra too, as I bought an XL Puma one since it was on sale, and it was kinda big in the band.

I also have to note that me feet are shrinking, when I started I was an 8.5, on Thursday I found a pair of 7's that fit great.--I was not expecting this one, but hey I will take it=)

My other tangible is muscle definition--I am starting to see some of this too, but not as much as I want yet. Currently I have it in my calves, and butt. I would love to have toned arms, back and abs as well. Little by little I hope to have more.

Goal 1000 fitness minutes/month!

I may not be to the finish line yet--but at least I am in the race!

A healthy me is up to ME!!!!!

Oh so many good goals! I think mine would definitely be the shopping at any store, not plus size stores, for my clothing and a fun tangible goal for me is cosplaying either a female version of the 10th doctor or possibly Amy Pond and having my son dress as the 11th doctor.(hello I'm a fellow geek!)

Great question!

My first was to fit in an airplane seat, which I did in October. Next, I'd like to buy regular sized clothes. I'm close, but have been gaining weight again so I have to get back at the work to get there. I'd also like to not worry about fitting into seats in general.

My tangible goal is to where regular size pants. A pair that I can buy at any store and they will fit me! I so hate shopping at certain stores just because I can't find or fit into anything else!

Hello nerd girls!
I'm more a gamer but I know about cosplay and see people dress up at the con's I have gone to. One girl dressed as wonder woman. I was so jealous.

My tangible goal is that I want to surprise people the next time I see them with my weight loss. We moved from NY to CA and if we have money we will be visiting our friends next year. I was hoping to see them this year but things are not working out so much there.
So here is to next year and surprises.

Haha! Love finding fellow nerds! That sounds like a great motivator in itself as well, kinda like not having to buy bras online cause my small town doesnt have a place that sells them!

Howdy there! Fellow nerd here. I've wanted to cosplay as my WoW toon for a long time. I would love to do that when I get to a smaller size. I'm a chain mail wearer so the less I need, the better. That or get really hot and do Lady Sylvannas in a hot yet not ... exceedingly provocative way.

Besides cosplay, my tangible is definitely smaller size clothes. I don't want to have to shop in exclusively plus sized stores anymore as a necessity. Like this week I HAD to go to Lane Bryant to buy dress pants. I HATE that. Now they have some really cute clothes. I've found like 20 work dresses I want. Thing is I can't afford them. If I could buy say 14-18 at a regular store like Gordman's or Marshalls or heck Target, I could save SOOOO much money. That's my tangible. That or steal my significant other's Beyonce jeans. That would be awesome lol!

Not a dumb question at all! Cosplay is where you dress up and play the part of a character. Like say you go to Comic Con dressed as the 10th doctor from Doctor Who, you would walk around playing that role all day and just having fun with it.

The main reason I am doing this is to feel better and stop hurting, that doesnt mean I dont want to look good and have fun too tho. I thought maybe it would help my motivation to set a more tangible goal to work towards. I so badly want to go cosplay at a con, so Im thinking maybe after Ive lost quite a bit I will find a way to make that happen. Im not sure what I will cosplay, there are SO many choices from Doctor Who, Supernatural, The Avengers and so many others that I will have to think long and hard about it. I havent sprung this news on the husband yet either or the news that he WILL go play along lol, so wish me luck there, he doesnt geek out over stuff like I do so he doesnt quite know what to think about it. The 6 big kids tend to take after me (and we are working to convert the baby too) and he gets quite lost & frustrated with our chatter over movies, tv shows, books, technology, computers etc.

So anyway, what is YOUR tangible goal?
