I ran the disney 1/2 also. I signed up for the Disneyland 1/2 in September. Not sure if I will definitely be able to go but it was already 90% full so I figured I better sign up. Have a great and healthy day. emoticon

Good morning team. I feel a little sore from Zumba class last night. I'm happy to say that I got most of the steps down now since she keeps most of the same routines every week. Last night we had a new song and steps. It is exciting to be in the group of ladies and see them smiling because they are having a nice time w/ the workout.

Tonight it will be 1/2 hr cardio and 1/2 upper body. Need to work the upper to get these arms nice and fit for when the weather changes. emoticon

I'm home from Disney World Princess Half Marathon. It was wonderful.... And I've signed up for the Disneyland half in september....

I'm now working on some short term goals of weight loss (I put on weight while training for my half) and shorter runs! also adding in Abs workouts...

Good afternoon team, I'm glad to say I've dropped 2 lbs since last week. My daughter's graduation dress is bought, so my count down begins 13 weeks until the big day. I want to look & feel amazing. My body has been talking to me lately...more like screaming..I feel the extra lbs on my knees, my scrubs are tight. Thinking of joining a gym...but I do have workout dvd's,weights, and resistant bands. ready to put all to use. Best wishes all!

HI,

I am new here but excited about getting started. I started a fitness class that meets M, W and F for an hour and hope to do about 10-15 minutes of cardio to follow. Good Luck to everyone.

Morning, ladies. Haven't been around in a while because I've been dealing with a slight injury and some illness. Feeling so much better. I skipped a few workouts, but I put in 40 minutes on my bike yesterday. I'm already down another pound, so I'm loving life! I've started using cinnamon after reading BigOleDiva's blog on using cinnamon to boost your metabolism. It is amazing. It won't work alone (you still have to eat right and exercise), but it's a nice little supplement.

Hi Everyone! I haven't been doing real great with my weight loss battle lately but I know I need to buckle down and start eating better! So I got my Kettle Worx program come in the mail and I am in love with it! You get such a great workout and in only 20 mins! I would suggest it to anyone.

I did a 1hr dance workout last night. This weekend I did eat an unhealthy meal. Sometimes it gets hard. But at the same time when I do that and I'm aware of it I add an extra 1/2 hr exercise for about 3 days or the whole week.

Today was a little difficult to get started but I stuck to my routine and pushed on through. The weekend was my first successful one in a while. Up until March, I'd been letting myself "off" one day a week but it's really hard to stay in control during those times so I've decided to buckle down for the month of March and hit hard at the scale. Not sure what explains today's lethargy but I'm hoping it eases by tomorrow. Otherwise, it's gonna be a long week. One workout down, five to go!!

I reached my being able to run again for 3 miles, this weekend, haven't done that since last year. Now I just need to add a little more time and I will be at 3.2 miles. My goal before I sign up for my 5k. Today I am running with my dog, along with my son riding his bike. fun times!

I am so excited. Lost 4 pounds since last week. Didn't do anything on Saturday and Sunday w/ the busy weekend. Yes, I could've done something. I was just so tired. Getting back in the routine today for sure. Can't let that number go back up. I've worked too hard and want to see it lowering as a I go. Either that or same.

So tired today and rainy outside, but I'm planning to go to the rec center and swim for 20 min and run/walk for 25 min...my weight seems to be going down again instead of up so I hope I can continue that by watching my food a little bit better and exercising more consistently...

Was able to get a work out in today and felt real good afterwards... I'll be working out tomorrow as well. I too am heading out of town not sure if there is a gym near by or not, but I do feel sorry for whoever is below me. I plan on packing the resistance bands and a jump rope. You ladies keep it up...

4.5 miles biking a new route today...a little over 1/3 of the way to my sprint triathlon distance and 12 weeks to go. I have the swimming down (only 300 m for this baby tri). Can't run 3.1 miles but if all else fails I will walk. Considering working out only 3 days this week was a major accomplishment compared to nothing for many weeks before, I still have a lot of work ahead of me, but I am happy.

I got some exercise in earlier this week, and then started having pain issues again. Grrrrr. Hopefully tomorrow I will get a chance to go out and walk.

Checking in real quick. So far a very busy day and will be heading out again for a night out. No exercise today. I feel a bit guilty but I need a break. A day off will not make a huge difference as long as I jump back in tomorrow. Plus, I will be watching what I put in my mouth! Will choose wisely.

Wearing a gorgeous dress in which I couldn't fit when I bought it. That will be the reminder!!! Look how you look because of all the work. Don't overdo it!

So, I haven't checked in for a while but I'm here now. Have been pretty consistent with the 30 Day Shred and still playing floor hockey once a week (my team has won the last 5 games!). Hello everyone. Slaproxy and Shirnes... Zumba is great. I love it. If you like to dance and have fun exercising you will love it. I am hooked on it. They do mambo, zamba, cumbia, merengue and other moves. I tried a class near my job and a few of their instructors. Mainly enjoyed two of them and those are the classes that I attend. It doesn't matter if they go left and you go right. The thing is that you are having a great time and believe me... you're not alone on going the opposite way. LOL

Going to the same instructor's class will have you knowing the routine in no time. I hope you guys try it.

I have lost 0.5kg after starting out Bootcamp program.
Today mark my 4th days.

of cos apart from exercises. I keep a very close look out on what i consumed!
therefore, managed to lost some weight as of now.
and i realised i perspire alot easily as compared to last time when i seldom exercise.

lets keep up the GOOD WORK! WE CAN DO IT!!! Cheerios :D

Got a quick work out in today. 10 minute warm up on the elliptical and 30 minutes of strength training. Will probably feel it tomorrow. Have to figure out what tomorrows workout is going to be.

Good morning everyone. I went for a half an hour walk yesterday w/ such great weather and enjoying that the sun is out late again. Then did an upper body workout for 25 minutes. Today I'm heading to my Zumba class after work. I tell you, I sleep like a rock and I'm still sore. I felt every part of my legs walking up the steps this morning. My mind tells me keep pushing because that will fade away.

So no excuse to skip the Zumba! Keep it shaking left and right and front and back.... LOL

I'm here. Had a great workout today. 1 hour on elliptical, 30 minutes running on treadmill, 25 minutes on stationary bike, 30 pushups and 200 crunches. I feel great. I'm so proud of myself. I only have 5 more pounds to go to reach my goal.

Checking in today. Hello everyone!
I decided to try the 1 hour dance by Billy Blanks Jr last night. Boy did he have me sweating. It was very nice and I'm liking the dancing cardio type of classes too. Dont' get me wrong... towards the end he had us working our upper body w/ simple moves. But boy did I feel my muscles. I didn't give up.

Looking forward to the Zumba class tomorrow. Have a lovely day.

Hello everyone. Didn't check in this weekend but I am glad to say that it was because I was busy exercising. Have not fallen off the wagon. Went to my Zumba class and decided to try the Kickboxing Cardio class. Wow, two hours of exercise back to back. It was hard getting up on Sunday. But I still did two sessions of exercises. A cardio one and a lower body one.

I'm getting mentally prepared to start training...should have 15 week eating plan in hand tomorrow. Looking forward to the first workout. Had Chinese today but downing a ton of water. I went out with my Hubby and Daughter for the day and we had an awesome time. I've been doing pretty good staying within my calorie range this past week, although I think I need to up it...my metabolism has definitley gone up a notch or two. Over all this has been a good week..no matter what the scale says tomorrow.

I am feeling pretty bad about myself today. I had chinese food yesterday and am retaining a lot of water....at least I hope that's why the scale looks so high. I was also supposed to start my sprint triathlon training yesterday and just didn't get to it. I sure hope today is better, and I get in the game!

Good Morning team. I've noticed the closer I get to my goals the less I'm on spark, and the internet in general. I will keep checking in at least once a week if I can't be here every day anymore. I'll be coaching the boys varsity volleyball team this spring and our season starts next Tuesday so you can all imagine the fun, busy times that are ahead of me.

I hope everyone is working hard toward their goals, never get discouraged, never give up. Every day is a new day to start toward a new goal. Always be kind to yourself and be kind to others and have a great weekend!

Good evening! I'm still here! :) I have been barely doing ok with my eating... I have been staying in my calorie boundaries for the most part, but just barely! The one good area for me has been exercise.. thank goodness! I don't "feel" like I've lost anything yet (I know most of you know that "feeling" I'm talking about) but I will find out for sure on Sunday! Glad to see so many of you doing so well!!
