I like the Wii for the Yoga, I would probably never have done it without the Wii. I see what you are saying for setting the tone for the day. That's a good plan. I wish I had a gym near me. I would have to drive 36 miles to go to the gym. I workout better in a public setting. I guess because there are others there that motivate and I can start a challenge with them and they don't even realize what I am doing! Hopefully some day I can get back to a city with a gym nearby!

Hi FEMALEGOLFER: I don't do the Wii with the intention of trying to burn calories. The workouts on Wii are too simple to really burn anything. But I use it mainly for about 20minutes of yoga, and then I do another 10 of some light exercise. I do it mostly to kind of get me in the right mindset. When I start the morning with this, I'm kind of setting the tone for the day, starting off on the right foot kind of thing. And on a week like this week, when I have work longer hours and have no time for the gym, I figure it's better than nothing. But for hardcore cardio you definitely need something more than Wii.

I used to eat WeightWatchers stuff too, but then I read that packaged foods aren't great because it upsets your eating habits -- making you hungry sooner or keeping you artificially bloated for longer. Fresh food prepared at home is supposed to be better for the digestive system so that's what I try to do. It's not easy, but there is a difference.

EVILENGLISH: Thank you it does help. I have not looked much into SP meals yet. I usually weight watcher dinners, they are fast and I think they are good too. I have to watch my intake of most fruits and vegetables, I have a bad reaction from them. So I find it more difficult to eat healthier and how I would like to eat. But one of my biggest problems is my lack of eating. I might go a couple of days and not really eat anything, then I get hungry and I eat too much. If I'm not hungry I have a hard time forcing myself to eat something healthy.

Do you think the Wii exercises help you? I used to do them every morning but I was not seeing much of a difference that I could tell.

I am 5'3" and weigh 153. I run between a size 6 and 8. Every diet page on the internet tells me I am overweight and overfat. However, my doctor is not concerned. He says most of my weight is muscle, so there is not cause for concern. I however would like to lose a few pounds, but am finding it difficult as I am battling thyroid problems. Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

FEMALEGOLFER: Battling those last few pounds is tough, and here's how I've been doing it. I use the nutrition tracker on SP and look at some of the meals they suggest. I keep changing them until I get a combo with the veggies/fruit/meat/fish I want. I then printed out the grocery list for it, and I spend a couple of hours preparing the meals. Now the advantage of this over what I used to do is that on my own, trying to think up different recipes that are healthy on my own is a nightmare. Usually I would end up eating the same thing for 2 weeks because I couldn't come up with anything better. (And then I would get tired of the healthy stuff and binge on junk food). This way I have different meals that are healthy so I don't get bored. TBH, I cheat a little and make two portions of the meals on SP because that way the effort of making a meal stretches a bit further, but I love the variety of meals I can have using the stuff on SP.

I should also be working out. But I just went back to work after a long holiday and the pile of work that's waiting for me means that I'm working longer hours than usual so can't get to the gym. But I do a bit of yoga and a 10min. exercise on the Wii every morning and so far, I haven't gained weight and have even managed to lose a bit. I think that when you only have a few punds to lose, you should look at every ounce lost as a victory and use it to encourage yourself to keep going.

Does that help?

I too was just reading through and all I can say is THANK YOU! I am 38 years old and 5'3" 126 lbs. I struggle with my weight. Even though it is an acceptable weight and I wear a size 6-8, I am very small boned and I have flab and a muffin top. So maybe it's not necessarily about losing weight, but it's about looking good in the clothes I want to wear. We all have our own ideal weight in mind and just because we fit into the normal category, it is not normal for our bodies. I carry all my weight on my butt and thighs. I have a small petite top and the extra pounds on my lower half makes me look out of proportion.
So again, I say thank you to this discussion and look forward to hearing others and how they battle with these last few pounds.

Beahottie-I love the blog. Its always nice to know other people have the same struggles. I hope you don't mind, I have a question...
Is it time to start looking at fitness as something you do FOR yourself. Its your treat, you didn't forget to have a glass of wine because its a treat. We find time to do the things we want to do...sometimes it helps to tell ourselves its a good thing. You will one day believe it, love it and it will be a bigger priority to work out than go to bed late...well thats what I keep telling myself. It works 80% of the time :-)

So glad I found this! It is good to know I am not alone but motivation must be my problem for not being able to lose 6-8 lb. I keep wanting the issue to be my thyroid but it keeps testing "normal". Guess I need to put the fork down and make healthier eating choices. It is hard to ignore family and friends but we have to trust ourselves and our tight pants.

AH YES! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you. Nice to hear from people who understand. This Forum really helps. I can't seem to find people to relate to on this one aspect of my life and it really does make it hard to stay motivated. It's about being healthly afterall -- not just 10 lbs. So thanks!! emoticon

Hey BEAHOTTIE, all I can say is, that's the reason I', here with SparkPeople. Here, I can "get in on the conversations" without getting the "You don't need to lose weight" line.
Also, can I just say, those last 10 pounds are always the hardest to lose, and it must be even tougher after a baby. Hang in there, and even if your friends aren't supportive, we're here for you!

Can I get in on this... I completely relate to this. I'm 37, 5'2" and 128 lbs. My goal is 118 - my prebaby-and-baby weight. It used to be so much easier for me to shed a few extra pounds. I could get back to my normal weight in a week maybe 2. Now -- I just can't get the scale to budge. I'm stuck at 128. Which technically does not make me fat. But my clothes!! Maybe I am just vain, but I want my clothes to fit again. I want to feel good in them instead of trying to hide my bumps and rolls. Friends look at me and go "oh please! what are you worried about" I swear they get angry at me for trying to get in on their conversations about diet and lossing weight - because I don't need to. This is a daily battle for me - trying to eat right and get some exercise into my life. Ugh! Thing is... I know if I don't do something now - these 10 lbs will become 15 or 20 in no time at all.

Wow, I've been reading through these posts and I soooooooooo hear you! I'm 5'2 and 119. I wouldn't bother with losing weight at this point except my clothes are starting to feel too tight and I don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe.

I've heard this "you don't need to lose weight" so often that now I just don't say that I am trying to lose weight. It keeps the unwanted comments away but that also means that there's no one you can talk to about the difficulties/progress..... I'm hoping that joining this group will solve that problem!

I agree!! I had the same uneasy feeling reg. some of the posts.

I am 5'5 and 138. I've had 3 children and have no routine of fitness in my life anymore and I'm concerned about that. I realistically only need to lose about 5 lbs, but that 5lbs represents a lack in my current lifestyle that will balloon to 10, 15, 20 lbs etc.. as I age if I don't pay attention now.

I also believe that because our general society has gotten so much heavier, we are getting used to what people look like heavy. So someone who is only 5-10lbs overweight simply doesn't register as "fat" and only "fat people" need to bother with diets and such.

I feel ya. I weigh 135 and I want 125, I want my clothes to fit better. I am not all about losing pounds but inches. I could care less if I weighed 135 pounds as long as I lost the last 6 inches off my waist. My friends are always like your getting too skinny, your gonna dry up and blow away..I hear it all the time. It does get old quick.

This is such a great form. I am in the same boat. I am 5'8" and 138 lbs. Most people look at me and think I am at least 10-15 lbs less. After 3 kids, I just want clothes to fit right, and I want to feel good about myself. It is nice to know that others are out there in the same boat.

I so feel your pain. I am 5'4" and 131, and trying desperately to lose just 10 pounds. I'd be delighted to be 120 again. I know that I'm petite, and not "overweight" according to most people. But what other people don't seem to get is that what matters is how we view ourselves. I am also tired of hearing that I don't need to lose weight! And oh my, how these 10 pounds to shed are worse than having to lose 40 pounds. Or at least, at times, it feels like it!

Yes!! I have lost 30 pounds, but I'm still 10 away from my goal (which is the middle of my healthy BMI range). And yet my friends and family keep harping that I'm "too skinny."

I think they're just insecure with themselves.

Hi-I'm new here. I don't tell anyone I'm dieting, but I eat very cleanly. At 5 ft and 100lbs. I usually hear I'm too thin. I upsets me that people think they can criticize for being thin (in their opinion). Would those same folks tell someone they are too fat? I don't think so...
So frustrating.....I feel blamed.

Hi all

I can relate totally to this! Just because I am a size 10 people think that I do not need to worry about what I eat. I used to be a size 8. Therefore if I don't watch what I eat I could soon be a 12. I always thought prevention was better than the cure!!

I don't talk to people about wanting to lose weight because I don't want to get them started. I do get strange looks at buffets when I don't eat what is brought. My friend at work said that no one can say I'm undernourished because I snack constantly; I just look carefully at my choices.

I am 5'4" and weight 129lbs. I would like to be 125. I am thin compared to most people. I have a lot of muscle and would like get even more upper body muscle to even out my strong butt. But most importantly I would like to remove some of the fat that covers my muscle so I can see it better.

I however am not willing to starve myself to achieve this goal. To be honest some of the posts here concern me.

Maybe a little late on this topic but i felt compelled to respond because i too have been ridiculed for trying to watch what i eat, "living "at the gym or skipping the weekly doughnuts at the office. Im5'3 and 118lbs and most people specially family think Im crazy or obsessed. What happened to support they have seen me tip the scale at 172 and i am terrified of being there again.

I hear this all of the time, too. I work in an office with a majority of overweight women. Its sad that I can't talk freely about loosing a pound without one of them being sarcastic or very rude. I work at a Dr.s office and it is so hard to "be good" due to the lunches that are brought in by sales reps and our fridge being stocked with Cokes and Sprites all of the time. No wonder these ladies dont want to loose weight. Fattening foods and drinks are supplied by the "medical" industry, and they wonder what's wrong with America. I am on my journey in silence now. They still see me eating my carrot sticks and hummus, and skipping the Cokes, but I have no one at work to have conversations with about eating right and exercising. Too bad, I could give them some pointers...

Just had this type of conversation with someone recently. I think we have to keep in mind, that with so many people being overweight these days, we have a warped idea of what is "too thin". We are just so used to seeing overweight bodies instead of bodies that are in a healthy range.

I used to get this all the time when I lived in the US (at that time I was around 5'4 115 lbs). Most of the time when people made comments like this, they were usually by people who REALLY needed to lose a couple pounds themselves. Obviously I would never say, "Well I think you are at an unhealthy weight and really need to start working out for your health." I always thought it was odd and quite rude for them to feel comfortable telling me how to manage my fitness/weight program and pretty hypocritical when they themselves were doing such a poor job of managing theirs.

At the end of the day I just ignore what other people say and do what I feel is best for myself and my health. Life is full of people who try to make other people feel bad so they can feel better and I refuse to participate in that negative cycle =).

Oh my gosh.. I am so glad I found this too. I hear it all the time. I'm 5ft. small framed and everyone gives me a hard time. I even had a comment that I believe was towards my weight on from this team on another thread. It really irritated me. We are suppose to support not judge. As someone that has always struggled with my weight I know what it right for me. I have gotten as high as 141 and I never plan to let it get to that again. I also agree that a lot of it is jealousy.

I'm glad I found this board 'cos I was thinking of putting up something myself!

I find it convenienet to work out during my lunch break in the company gym which happens to be in our club house where people tend to hang out and have their lunch. I get so many questions, comments, stares and whispers that I actually stopped working out for a while!

I'm trying to lose the last 10 pounds or so of that refused to drop off after my third baby who is now three, but I'm not overweight by any standard, but I do have a bigger behind and a bigger stomach than I would like. I'm also trying to reduce my cholesterol level, but becasue I'm already tinier than most people around me (and some have not even had children), so I guess they cannot understand!

I had the last straw today. My gym buddy who is a long distance runner took a look at me and told me I'm working too hard!

I know this one too well. Three years ago, i tried on my fat jeans. Guess what they did not fit. i had enough i got my mp3 player took it to work and on breaks instead of going to the vending machine i walked up and down the stairs. then i started walking with a co worker. i would eat at my desk but healthy foods. So after three years of this the weight came off. The people i talk to thought it happen like magic. they don't realize it is work and well planning. i continue my work out and get this statement. as if the weight stays off once you get it off. I want to lose a little more and then keep it off but people see it as a disorder.

I am 38 and want to lose 9 lbs to be back to what I was last year this time!
Yes and when I was at that weight I heard that same old " you are too skinny thing"....but since then I have firmed up and started exercising ( swimming and running) and I have put on muscle, so this time when I get down to that weight again , they cannot say that! lol....
sometimes they just say that to ease THEIR guilt if they are heavier than you and also need to lose weight, You have to do what is right for you and what you have decided is healthy in conjunction with your physician and based on your BMI....
So I try not to listen to negative talk, and I evalute what they say by whether I have acheived my personal goals or not!
Sometimes pple say that once you have lost a bit of weight because they are noticing the difference and are used to seeing you heavier! so it is not really a negative thing...so context is a big thing.
Other pple are scared of eating disorders so they are well meaning , but in the end you have to be happy and healthy!

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.
The choices before me are mine to choose, win or lose!

Don't wait until you "feel like it " to exercise, that only happens AFTER YOU ARE DONE! ( the first 10 minutes are the hardest, after that it gets easier to keep going)

You never know what you might achieve if you just go for it and push through!

I bet you'll have a lot of luck with curves. I always wanted to join them because how it focuses just on women. And they seem to include alot of strength training.I don't have the time to go to the gym. I have two boys and me and my husband don't really get a chance to do anything for ourselves like join a gym. Although sometimes i get a chance to go shop by myself to release some stress once in awhile. And he gets to go waterskiing while i watch the kids which is great I'd rather he have that as a hobby than going out to drink at a bar.Have to go .Bye.

I was 108 pounds while running 4 or5 times a week. But this last month ive been depressed and it affected how i eat and exercise. I went to running only 3 or 4 times a week and I ate much more than usual by emotionally eating.I gained 4 pounds and Im so disappointed about it.Right now Im trying my best to exercise more but the eating part is much harder for me because i dont feel 100 percent and that just gives me big sugar and carb cravings.and i give in. Im hoping my mood gets better soon so i can bring my weight down a little. wish me luck.

Perfect topic...I am 5"0' and weigh 127, carrying most of the weight in my gut. I feel like if I see my gut after a meal when I look down instead of my boobs, that's a problem, lol. But, many people don't understand that just because I am not obese doesn't mean I am happy with my shape...especially when I was a size 0 for most of my life. Now, I am not trying to go back to 0, but am comfortable being a shapely size 3/4 even 5/6...just without the gut. So, it is nice to see there are so many other ladies out here who can identify with how I often feel when I bring up wanting to lose weight.

I'm really excited about this topic/group because you guys really understand what i grapple with. i just joined SP 3 days ago and i really feel so on a roll. not too long ago i used to be able to eat like a whole box of entemmens cinnamon buns without worrying about my weight. after my first child, which i had at 20, i lost amazingly just from breastfeeding and was down to 116 which i'd love, but i really care more about inches than the weight; i'd be very satisfied with 124- my pre4 kids weight. after my next 2 kids i did get down to 124 for siblings weddings and since my almost 2 year old was born, i was only down to 124 for a couple of days this april. i always wanted to tone my thighs even in high school, but only recently i've been not very happy about my new lovehandles and stomach bulges!! so, let's keep motivating each other!

I love this topic. I have been hearing it for over a year now. Last year I lost about 15 lbs and I weighed less than I did before I had my 2 kids. I stuck to my plan and was doing well for a while, but then people were constantly telling me that I looked great and shouldn't be so concerned with watching what I ate and finally I figured they were right. Well after a winter of eating snacks in the teacher's room and not caring about what I ate, I was feeling that my jeans were getting snug. That was the time when I decided it was time to start counting my calories again. Well of course I got the same old comments, "You look great, you didn't need to be counting calories" or "you work out all the time so what are you worried about". Of course I also thanked them for their comments and then I just quit talking about what I was doing, at least to people you didn't seem to understand. I'm doing good now, I still want to lose 5 more lbs, but my jeans are little loose so I'm content to just try to stay healthy and enjoy desserts in moderation:)

great topic! i always feel that way! i often feel great in clothes, but sometimes i feel like having a smartass comment to people who look at me like i'm anorexic or something when i talk about wanting to lose about 8 lbs. i'm 31, 5'6 1/2 about 132 lbs, and about a size 4-6. my goal is to tone and drop to 124.i'm very grateful for my metabolic rate and i really can't take much credit for it. i just realize that the years won't be so nice if i don't start doing something about it. i don't think that so unreasonable, to get back to my pre 4kids weight. i know what's under the clothes and there's a reason i'm not getting into a bikini anytime soon!

Having lost a stone since January this year, I am grateful for the kind comments from family and other people about my weight loss achievements. However, when I explain that I still have some way to go before i reach my goal, some people get quite cross with me, telling me that i'm now fine as i am etc. etc. etc. Some people even purposely try to feed me up! I know I have done very well, but I also know that i am till not happy with my physique. I don't expect the body I had before my children were born - after all i wweighed about 116lbs with very good muscle tone - but I want to look in the mirror and be pleased with what i see, and I want rid of the bulges that spoil the look of certain clothes.

great topic! I'm 4ft 11 and when I started this is was 115lb and in the past I've been as high as 126lb. I'm now down to 100lb but my goal is 105lb. I have a small frame and carry all my weight in my hips and thighs- I can wear a size 6UK tops but need a size 12UK jeans and this is a tight fit! I constantly get "what! you don't need to lose weight" So I tell them I can't fit into my jeans and when females I show them the size 12 label - they are usually shocked and I hear no more! My frustration is my shape; I cant get trousers/jeans over my hips, which are 38" and then they are huge around the waist which is 26"! I'd welcome any suggestions how to target this area....

I am excited for you. I bet you can get closer to your 20's weight than you realize. No matter how long it takes. I also noticed that the first time I tried to lose weight, I lost enough to feel better, but I bottomed out at a certain weight. I kind of stopped trying after that, but my new eating habits were enough to maintain and my body readjusted to this new normal. So instead of fluctuating a pound or two at 120, I fluctuated around 112. I think you can definitely change your body's notion of what's a normal weight. Now I am trying to make it normal for my body to maintain a one or two pound fluctuation around 105. I am only 5' and I have a small frame, so that is still a healthy weight for me. That's a good goal to go in stages, or else it's too overwhelming and you feel like your progress is not enough. This sight helps.

I can totally relate to this post. I have a desire to get myself back in shape but feel guilty complaining about my weight. I get the "you don't need to lose weight" alot. I usually respond about getting healthy or make a comment about looking better in my clothes etc.

I am currently 135 lbs and I am only 5'2". In my 20s, I consistently weighed in around 110. Once I hit 30, my metabolism changed and I began to put on a pound here and there. The next thing I knew I couldn't fit into my clothes and my energy level plummeted. My goal right now is to get down to 125 and go from there.

Last year I accidentally lost a lot of weight with out trying (stress of a new job) and I was shocked that I could look like that again. I didn't think my legs had even changed that much, but I could fit into jeans that I couldn't get over my hips in years. So now I want to try and get to that same result in a healthy way. I think you might see a change in your legs just by dropping a few pounds. I was carrying more weight than I thought-I didn't question it. I had accepted what it was. But when I saw that it was possible for me to have a flat tummy, I didn't want to go back. But I did...so now I am on a mission for it.

Same here! Just like other people mentioned, it's the people at work that say "You don't need to loose weight you're so skinny." My response is always "You haven't seen me in a bathing suit" And it's so true. I have 2 kids now, so I might weigh what I weighed when I walked down that wedding isle but my body doesn't look like that anymore! I am really good at hiding my problem areas (thighs and legs) You won't catch me in shorts and I really don't wear skirts often and I don't ever wear anything tight. It's just not me. When I do lose weight, I often find it is in my face and chest. That is the area that I am fine in! And short of Liposuction, I am not sure even if I starved myself the weight would come off in my thigh/butt areas! I love food to much to even consider not eating but I want to lose just 5lbs . That is a lot for me and it's going to be really hard. I just hope it shows in the butt/thigh area!

Yes, I feel silly talking about weight at work. People just want to smack me. So I've learned to keep my personal goals to myself. I will be forty this year and I want to have a small waist and tight legs. The sexiest forty that I can be! I don't just want to be a size this or that. I am so short that even a couple of pounds really makes my clothes tight. Petite people unite! I need to update my profile because it's been a while and I would like to be around 106, I am however more like 111. Darn it!

I totally understand your frustration. I don't "Need" to loose weight either but the body I have has changed - as all do shen we get older. My clothes are a little snug and I would like to change me not my wardrobe.

Perhaps you could say that you are wanting to get "healthier". Just because you weigh lets say 115 pounds - it does not mean you can run a mile without getting long winded. We all need to stay healthy and if loosing weight is a positive result then great:)

I will not only omit that information but deny it, or say the loss was just water weight from my meds. I'm 5'8, 113 lbs and everyone says I look great but want to lose another 5 to slim some areas that can only be affected through overall weight loss.

I have gotten the same responses. Over the last year I gained 10 pounds, which is a lot for 5'1 1/2". No one seemed to think this was significant and stated they thought I "looked fine." However, all my clothes were tight and I felt sluggish. I just stopped talking about it to people and went along my way to losing what I needed. Now, when someone asks if I have lost weight, I just say, "I don't know, but I have been working out a lot more, so maybe it's just redistributed."

I think the key is to keep it to yourself. It can make a person listening feel self-conscience if they view you as thin. I have caught myself talking about how I NEED to lose weight and sure the person was annoyed or thought I had a eating disorder. I just want to be healthy. I can think it...not say it.

I am 5'6 and currently 134. I am hoping to go to 130 - 127. I have never really been big most of my life but I do feel the extra weight. When folks tell me I don't need to lose I just tell them I am aiming to be the healthiest that I have ever been. Most cannot argue with being healthy.

I'm 5'8 & 137 lbs, my goal is to get to 135. I am satisfied with my clothing size, a 4, but I want to be more muscular,I want a toned body.
Sometimes I feel that people want me to stop losing weight so that they feel better about their weight.
It's not a competition, I just want to be the best me I can be.

For me, I tell people that I want to get a more toned body. I'm 5'5 and 135 and everyone tells me I don't need to lose weight. True, I could settle for my healthy body, but I want one that is truly toned and physically fit which means I am still not quite there yet and not going to settle for less.

What most people don't understand is I'm not trying to lose weight to be "thinner" anymore but to work off the fat that is covering the muscle. They seem to understand a desire to be toned and that you can't get there without losing the fat the covers up the muscle. But most people think we all want to lose weight just to look "thin" and once you look thin in plain clothes, why lose more? Some people don't desire to go that extra mile to be the best you can be, like we do.

I am 39 and also 5'3 and have struggled with just a few unwanted pounds. Most of my life I have been a size 3. A few years ago I had gone from a healthy 130 size 5 to an unhealthy 160lbs. I didn't feel bad about the weight gain until I saw myself in a photo and realized I just hadn't had the energy I had before. So I decided to take up cycling (with my family) and focused more on being healthy and more active. Your weight is just a guide. I look much better at the 130 lbs on my 5 foot 3 frame than I did in my 20's at 115 to 120 lbs. I just look more athletic and muscular. No one needs to know your weight because it's not about weight it's just about being healthy and active.

I'm in the exact same boat, 5'3" and 119, trying to get back down to 112. I just keep my goal to myself and tell people I'm trying to eat healthier. I definitely have a belly pooch that does not scream "healthy" right now.

I get the same thing! I'm 37, 5'3", and I've always (until recently) been betweeen 105-110. I was up to almost 120, and I feel fat and miserable about myself, so I started this program. Everybody tells me I look fine -- but my doctor is grouchy about my weight gain and so am I, and that's all that matters! They can't see my stomach rolls, now can they?! You don't have to be morbidly obese to need a little lifestyle change!

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm 36, 5'4 and 117. I want to get back down to 112. I have a very small frame and that is the weight I 'feel' my best at and I think that's what counts. Always remember that we are our own worst critics so it shouldn't be surprising if someone else 'can't see it'.

Just tell them you don't feel as healthy as you should feel. I'm 5'3" and 109. I get that "you need to stop" all the time. I just say that I'm not getting thinner, I'm getting healthier, and thinner just happens to be a bonus! People will think what they want and some will worry but there isn't much you can do about that. Hand in there.

Do the day and let the day do you.

I keep being told that, I just have to politely say that I do need to, I can see it, it's not so easily seen by others. I think I am used to hearing it though.

I also hear this all the time. I'm 5'5" and 128 which is definitely not too thin. (I'd actually like to get to 120.) Most people I don't say anything to but if questioned I say things like my clothes are a little snug and I can't afford new, or I'm trying to build more muscle to increase my metabolism (which is true)and building muscle takes clean eating or I'm trying to watch my cholesterol and blood sugar. Most of the time any of those shut people up.

You might consider asking your doctor about it next time you're there. That way if people say you don't need to lose weight, you can tell them that your doctor approved it. There's really nothing they can say to that. On the other hand, if your doctor advises you not to loae any more weight, then you have to start thinking about why you want to or think you need to.
