Well I am nowhere close to my November goal even though we are getting at the end of the month. My goal was 190 for the end and I will be off by about 7 pounds. Hopefully I can get my butt in gear and add that to what I already had planned for December. I started this journey in August and wanted to be down 50 pounds by the end of the year. So far I am at around 35-36. Even if I don't make it exactly to that goal, giving it my all and coming close will still make me feel proud and successful.

My goal for the rest of this month is:

1. Get back to working out 1-2 hrs a day
2. Ditch the super late night eating
3. Trade in bad foods for good ones
4. Start doing yoga or something to help with stress and emotional eating
5. Drink 120oz of water a day
6. Cut back on alcohol

Hopefully by Decemeber those won't be on my goal list b/c I will already be doing them.

Well, the month is 2/3rds over, so I'm a little late, but I've been over in the BLC#16 forums, and now that that's over, I need to move back over here for my motivation!

My November Goals:

Lose 10 pounds
Remember that Thanksgiving is 1 day, and 1 day only!
35+ minutes of cardio EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I have stuck to my Spark range every day since I started (and the bottom of the range, at that), so the thought of not doing so on Thanksgiving makes me anxious. However, I know that Thanksgiving is not something that I am willing to give up for the rest of my life, so I am not willing to give it up now.

I will eat responsibly by taking small portions of my favorites and thoroughly enjoy my food and, most importantly, spending time with my loved ones. I will not bring home leftovers (well, maybe some of the white meat turkey) so I am not encouraged to spread the feast out over multiple days! I am also making sure to be extra careful in the days leading up to Thanksgiving, in the hopes of giving myself a bit of a cushion. My goal is to lose 10+ pounds this month, and I am already at over 9 pounds lost for the month, so even if I have a bit of a set back from Thanksgiving, I should still reach my goal with no problems!

I joined SparkPeople (again) last Wednesday with two goals in mind:

1) No alcohol for the rest of the year
2) No pizza for the rest of the year.

Not gonna lie...it's been quite a struggle! But I really want to break my addiction to both and stop binging on them, so I know it'll be worth it! Another goal I've added:

3) Drink two liters of water per day.

I know I am adding a goal mid month but now that I have successfully went to the gym and worked out..I feel great so I want to make another goal of going at least 5 times per week.

Wow we are almost halfway through the month already! Time really flies by!! Everyone is making great goals for themselves. Keep up the good work!! I am now working on losing the extra couple pounds I gained over the weekend. Weigh in is on Thursday and want to see something less than last week!!

Hi everyone. I'm new here and would like to introduce myself. I am Lizzy and I'm 25 and help meet and wife to my husband Donavan and a full time mom to my two beautiful children, Chloe 21 mo and Liam 4 mo. Today is my anniversary and my husband asked me what my goal for this next year was and I said to get healthy. So today I am 275 lbs and am working to be to 175 by this time next year.

1) No McDonalds.
2) Stay within calorie goal even on Thanksgiving.
3) Do all cardio workouts prescribed by trainer.
4) Finish my first 5K in less than 45 minutes.

-Track food at least 4 times per week.
-Exercise at least 4 times per week, even for fifteen minutes. (I've already pushed myself to do much more this past week and am planning on continuing to)
-Be careful around Thanksgiving. Remember to eat until I am full and not just because some of the foods I think I only eat then. There are always leftovers, and I don't need to hog them.
-Goal weight of 220-215
-Lose more inches!

I think the hardest one will be to be careful around Thanksgiving. I'll be home and out of the healthy environment I have made for myself this fall. I know I can push through. I'm also hoping to talk more about my long term goal with my parents.

-Continue what I'm doing and stick to food and regular journaling, working out, etc.
-Get down to 210 (I think that's very reachable, but I've recently had a plateau that I just broke through, so I want to plan for that sort of thing)
-Start studying for finals (not really a weight goal but a personal one)
-Drink more water!

Wellllll, I've been on vacation for the last two weeks. It was amazing. Very relaxing! But I definitely slacked. I'm still two pounds away from my goal for last month... Sooooo that's kinda sad. BUT I haven't given up. My goal is to continue to lose weight (5-8 pounds) this month and pick back up on the exercising.

My goals for November are basically to get back on track with my weight loss...I've been having serious motivation issues and can't seem to get back in the swing of things :( this month I am going to really try to get serious and do what I need to do as far as eating the right things, controlling my portions, and starting some type of exercise routine! Would like to lose about 10lbs this month!

My goal for October was 10 lbs...and I lost 12.5!

November goals:
1) Lose a total of 50 lbs by Thanksgiving (only 6 more lbs to go!)
2) Better meal planning. I am good about cooking, but not planning ahead! Because of this, I have to go to the grocery store a few times a week. I need to plan more than 1 day ahead!
3) Make a healthy, tasty dish to take to Thanksgiving dinner. I want it to be so good that no one knows it's low-cal!

I love everyone's goals so far! We can do it!

1. Eat one fresh fruit a day
2. Get 10 minutes of exercise a day
3. Take 10 minutes to journal everyday

Goals: NO SODA for the rest of the month.

I agree. Usually from about the middle of Nov until New Years is a bit of a bust for me health wise. (I do fully enjoy my debauchery, though!!)

Goals
1) 10 mins per day of some exercise
2) Continue C25K
3) Yoga 2x/wk
4) Portion control on Thanksgiving.
5) Make Thanksgiving a one day event. No left-overs at my house. No, "I need to finish this pie before it goes bad." :)

Well since I am embarking on a juice fast journey tomorrow, my goal is 1. to stay on track and 2. to NOT eat during Thanksgiving *SHOCKER* it will be interesting to see what feelings may arise during this calorie dense time of the year. I do have many other goals but they are mostly related to exploring why I have such an unhealthy relationship with food, understanding true hunger v. emotional/bored eating, and self disciple.

My November goals are:

- To lose at least 5 pounds.
- To continue on my C25K program (I should be on Week 8 by the last week of November, which is jogging at least 25 minutes straight)
- To find more meals that reheat well so I can cook healthy on weekends and have healthy dinners throughout the week.
- For homecoming weekend - I want to enjoy myself, but remember to make healthier choices and keep up my exercise regimen at the hotel gym.

If I get to go home for Thanksgiving, my goal is to allow myself my one splurge day, but don't go so crazy that I undo all my hard work. And to also keep up my running program while at home.

If I don't get to go home... well, it'll be easier to stay on track!!

Ah, November.. you've finally arrived. I can't believe the year is almost over. What goals do you have for the month of November? Share them here!

November is one of my weakest months because of... dum dum dum.. Thanksgiving! I just love all the fabulous Thanksgiving foods, and I love cooking a ton of it for my family. One of my goals is to try and cook a little lighter, and if that can't be done, to at least cut back on how much I consume.

I want to continue to get my 8 cups of water a day, and start exercising again because I have been seriously slacking since I began moving. I am finally in the new house and I'm getting settled. The treadmill is up and operational, and I need to hop on before it starts collecting dust!

For this month, I'd like to lose at least 5 lbs.
