I think if you track your food including your cholesterol. Look at the numbers and realise what you did, Put it behind you, what is done is done and just keep on tracking your food. We all have to have good and bad days. We just have to understand we need many more good days than bad ones. I am sure you could ask that question on the internet and get lots of technical answers.

Just make sure you do the very best you can if you want good results. The tests will tell you thats why we have them done. Take care emoticon Pat in Maine.

I'm not sure but I believe it raises your numbers for the one day but they go back down.

I have my blood tests every 6 months, so I firmly believe it is the overall eating habits. I use the 80/20 idea. I eat healthy 80% of the time and give myself a 20% of not quite as healthy. I don't go out and gorge, but I do occasionally have the fast food. I have lowered my numbers. I should be taking another test this month, so I am hoping the DR will at least lower the amount of meds.

I know this may be a stupid question, but I have to ask. When you do a fairly good job trying to watch what you eat to lower your cholesterol, and one day decide to eat a cheeseburger. How much does that set you back, the weeks of eating healthy? Does it raise your numbers then take forever to bring them back down?

And of course this is what I did this weekend... emoticon
