All day it has been cold and rainy. We are suppose to have a week of this type of weather. At some point we may have sleet and snow flurries which is hard because people in this part of the country are not used to having snow. I am cold, too.

I am seeing results in my week 3 as of today of NO smoking, that it has a HUGE effect on my Cholesterol levels too.

Wow! An 18 minute mile pace sounds fast to me. I applaud you. I walked outside in a neighborhood park for 50 minutes. I am a slow walker, due to knee problems, so I walk a mile in about 25 minutes. Anyway, at least I'm walking, which is something I was not doing before joining Spark!

Fog lifted so it was safe enough to walk the neighborhood. Walked at an 18 minute mile for 1.68 miles. Abt 45 degrees with no wind. I know this will get better, patience is hard in this process.

We are going to Raleigh, NC for Thanksgiving. It will be nice to see our son and to walk more in the warmer climate. I plan on a lot of it while I am there. Maybe even go to the beach. Hopefully the drive will be sunny.
