Hi Ladies. Long time no see. My new career in real estate is just keeping me hopping. Hope everyone is well. Since I am gone so much does anyone wanted to added as a team leader to try to get this group more active again? With summer approaching I think we all may be up for some walks or fun? Thoughts??? :)

Good Afternoon:

Well, I just arranged for the hospice volunteers to come by on Wednesday to help me load up another van of donations. Yesterday I found a brand new box containing men's roller blades and another new box containing a pair of men's Adidas shoes. They should get a lot for those. I'm also giving them two new director's chairs and other assorted items. Will drop the stuff off this afternoon.

I went to the grocery Saturday and bought fresh fruit. This morning I had coffee and fruit (blackberries, 1/2 banana, and an orange. I also made a large salad for lunch. If the food is pre-made I'm more apt to eat sensibly. Do you find that to be true?

Hope to get to the gym today.

Good Morning:

I got back late Thursday evening. Yesterday it was so cold and nasty that I just stayed in. I spent the day putting things away, getting caught up with the mail, following the TV coverage of the hunt for the terrorist in Boston, and taking care of practical matters such as my renewals for insurance and lawn/yard maintenance. Also, I was on the phone a lot with calls from friends and family wishing me a happy birthday. I still wasn't feeling up to par so I just took it easy the rest of the time. I've been having acid reflux almost every day for the past couple of weeks and I had another tummy tightness (belly ache?). Thankfully, the Tums takes care of the acid reflux and the tummy is more a bit of discomfort, not pain. I love tomatoes and home made tomato soup and I think that's what gave me the heartburn.

Got some errands to do today and also need go through and clear up my files. I hate filing, just hate it, but it's got to get done.

Hi Gail, Emily and everyone,
I decided to give up trying to track my foods. It is just not sustainable for me. But I am trying to adhere to DietFree which is more based on following general habits.

My sister is having a cookout for some family birthdays this weekend. It is planned to be an indoor cookout, but who knows, Saturday might be nice. Take care everyone.

I am traveling to the Dells to do chair massage with one of my students today. It will be a good change of pace.
I am hoping the rain stops soon so I can get a good run in tomorrow and during the weekend.

Good Afternoon:

I hope you are all doing well. I'm going away for a week and desperately need rest and relaxation. My plan is to bring some books and veg. Any of you have special plans?

My food has been OK in that I am maintaining, but I haven't lost anything. It's been hard trying to get back to exercise since I was really unable to for several months following my misstep off the elliptical in early Nov. My knee hasn't throbbed for about a week and I'm hoping I've seen the last of that problem. Perhaps I'll work up the gumption to exercise on vacation.
