So how did your elections go? I tried for treasurer again this year and didn't get it again, so will NOT try AGAIN. They voted in all the same officers but some have different positions, I really need to change chapters. Wish I could come to your chapter...but it is a two hour drive.

Hi all, Karen I hope you are feeling better. I worked in the basement pretty much all weekend. I'm sore and tired. I'm coming down with something also. Sore throat and gunk. Everybody have a great day.

Good morning team. I was sick again this week, and am still hacking and coughing. I missed my nail appointment and TOPS this week. Wish I had stock in Kleenex! :)

Hope everyone's week is going well. I've been pretty good all week, with the exception of dinner out (although I did only eat less than 1/2 the meal)

TGIF baby! I'm still feeling good about my 2# loss this week. It's telling me that hard work does pay off, and I really like the feeling of accomplishment.

I'm also really happy about having so many new members in our TOPS group! New blood always helps inspire us. Teaching others helps reinforce what we already know and mayhave let fall by the way side.

Thanks for the well wishes, yes I am feeling better. I worked all da, although by the end of the day, I was pretty wiped out. Just threw dinner in the oven and may go rest a bit. Hope everyone had a great day!

Karen, Sorry you haven't been feeling well. Bummer.

I'm thinking about going to get the "spark" book today. It's on sale a few more days at barnes and noble. I have a coupon. It's around $13.00. It looks good. I'll try to remember to bring it in on Weds.

Good morning. I spent the last 2 days in bed with the flu, so I can safely say my intake of calories is down :) I'm still feeling weak, so not working out yet, but hope to get that back on track soon. I miss it! I'm going to try to go to work today, we'll see how that goes.

Hi all.
I have my eating more on track now. I'm starting to think more about at least starting some exercise goals. I see what exercise is doing for Ruben and I know I need to get moving. I've set really small goals, but every day. We'll see how it goes.

I reached a weight goal today. It's not much, but it feels good. Everybody....Have a nice healthy day. Carol

Glad you had a loss Cobby..woo hoo!!

I skipped TOPS Monday and went to yoga instead. I may have to skip TOPS a few more days because the yoga class is more important to me right now, and the focus I am getting is much more needed. I am also on that durn Federal jury duty this month and will need to call to see if I have to go again on Monday.

I'm glad you decided to go! I hope the yoga is helping your hip.

I had my first weight loss last night in a while (1.5# - yeah!) I love seeing immediate results to changes that I've made.

We had some new members come in last night at TOPS and we voted on some great amendments and clarifications of the by laws. We've got some great incentives, and I'm hoping it will inspire others to be "back on track"

I almost didn't go to yoga tonight after work....but decided I would rather do it and not have to go out in the morning. I am also a little sore from Monday yoga and being the #3 person at work yesterday (#3 person is the run all over the hospital person) anyway I went tonight and it was awsome. The instructor had us pick come cards from a deck and then read like a fortune, and then we had a nice workout. I am becoming friends with "down dog" (you know upsidedown V with your butt in the air). Then during cool down she placed a crystal in our left hand and then talked us through a very moving 10-15 minutes....when it was all over I was crying a little. My focus is straight as an arrow now.

Yep, as of yesterday, I've recommited and am back on track! I let all my good habits fall by the wayside and reverted back to the "old me". ICK! I'm tired of not feeling good about myself and my habits. I miss the "new" me. Maybe I should be CobbyVersion3.0? :)

Hi Karen,

Are you ready for the snow? It should be fun tomorrow morning. Thank goodness it isn't tonight. I'm on track, except for this afternoon. I was felling bad and ate something I shouldn't. Ruben and I have been good most of the week.

You know what keeps weighing on my mind? I keep on thinking about what I have called in my head, "the curse of the leaders". Let's turn it around this year. Carol
