Hi Lea. Glad you have joined us. We eventually will be sharing with you our experiences and from them you will be taking for you whatever suits you best.

Welcome! I understand exactly what you mean...I feel like I take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back..the cravings for sweets and carbs sometimes are overwhelming! There is no easy answer, that's for sure. I do like this website very much, I don't post a lot, but I come here when I need a boost, and it's nice to know so many people struggle. I'm looking forward to spring and spending more time outside and ramping up the exercise. I walk or swim with my sister on the weekend, and I go to water aerobics two times a week...I found as I got older (52) it was harder and harder to stick to something by myself. Good luck! Look at the recipes this site provides, they are marvelous!

emoticon Hi, my name is Lea Hartline I am a new member from Georgia. I am a stylist and have found that all my eating out of boredom between clients or on slow days is slowly making my time behind the chair hard to stand. How long can my knees hold up 200 pounds? Not very long! I am excited to see other people trying to overcome one of the things that got me to 200 pounds... Looking forward to our journey together.
