Almost happened the same way for me...up late one night, being overweight and miserable and saw a TV commercial for SP. Have never seen another since then, maybe it was a mirage!

But I'm very glad that I did. So far it truly impresses me. I had been thinking about joining Weight Watchers (could not decide whether to do the online or meetings) and then came across Sparkpeople. I can't believe that it's free, especially after I see how well put together it is...... wow!

Anyway, I am feeling like it is quite possible to finally have found something to help me achieve my weight and health goals. Glad I'm here! emoticon
