Hi, I just joined Sparkpeople and so far I really feel good about it. I just jogged for a little over a mile, something's I've been doing for the past couple months...not every single day though. I've cut down on my eating and I'm taking it one day at a time...(I had a brownie prior to my jog, but I'm convinced that losing weight is a mind thing, not so much a food thing) Oh well, hope I burned that brownie off. I did a total of 45 minutes (I bumped up my walk/jog from 30 minutes a day to 45 minutes) In a couple weeks, I hope to bump it up to an hour! I really want to lose my stomach, I could really fit my clothes better if I didn't have so much stomach. But if my mind didn't tell my hand to reach for that brownie (and other things in the past causing me to get where I am today) I wouldn't have to worry about weight gain and a big waistline. But I'm working on it. I'm a lot more disciplined now that I've gone through a 9-day detox. I feel a lot better, plenty of veggies and fruit and herbal tea, and oh yeah, brown rice and oatmeal. Good ol' oatmeal will do it. OK Bye until next time!
