Congrats for choosing to be a non-smoker.

You stopped smoking since last Tue that's so great.

Like you said " it seems to be more out of habit".

It's a habit that can be broken just like any other kind of habit.

Joining this team works! Somehow by posting your NOPE on the Not One Puff Ever thread brings some accountability. I feel like it's a real accomplishment to have a smoke free day. You can do this.

Persevere. Even if you fall on your face, you have moved forward.

PROGRESS, NOT PERFECTION.

You can do this! Each day you stay smoke free is one day closer to this being easier. Each minute counts! Use the Not One Puff Ever philosophy and you can do this forever! I am 10+ months in and I am rooting for you!

In your life's journey, there will be excitement and fulfillment, boredom and routine, and even the occasional train wreck...But when you have picked a dream that is bigger than you personally, that truly reflects the ideals that you cherish, and that can positively affect others, then you will always have another reason for carrying on. - Pamela Melroy

My name is Beth, I'm 32 years old and have been smoking for almost 15 years. Wow, I haven't realized how bad that sounds. I have quit 2 times in that 15 years, and have succeeded, but somehow started back. This time i want it to be for good. I want to be healthy for my baby boy and to enjoy life with my family! I only quit last Tuesday, and the cravings are horrible! It's not so much the needing the cigarette, its the WANTING. It seems to be more out of habit. But I have noticed I've been opening the fridge door alot more, and to make matters worse I have gained 4 lbs in less than a week.

So here I am, trying to make this permanent and fight off those cravings!

~Beth~
