My pain issues were under control for about 3 hours today so that they were only at a 4 on the pain scale.

I went to a movie with my husband. Still in the w/c for now.

Finished my hand beaded pens that I was doing for a trade with another craft person. Feels so good to have them done.

Safe and enjoyable visit with Dad yesterday

Attending funeral in honor of a wonderful Christian lady. Ruth was the wife of your minister for 15 years. She came and collected my family from the fire department the night the house burned down...bought sweat pants and shirts for all and took them home to sleep.
Just one of her many selfless deeds.

I was given 4 hours off work to attend this funeral

It is in the low 40's and sunny today. That definitely makes me happy!

My hubby gets off work today at 1pm instead of his usual 3pm. It will be nice to have extra time with him.

Today I'm definitely grateful for cold medicine. I'm sick and basically have a "faucet" for a nose and I had a dental cleaning today. The meds definitely helped me not have to blow my nose during my cleaning.

My siblings and their families coming over for dinner today (and my mother-in-law)

Made it home safely and dog is fine. (We tried out new young sitter)

I am thankful for the rain and the fire being put out in Cali. We drove to bay area on first clear air day, everyone there was very thankful!

That is a great prayer for this time of year, Joyce! I'm lucky, my family (my side, not hubby's) doesn't argue. We all get a long very well.

I'm grateful the boys are off school today. Gauge is inside helping clean and organize, and my stepson is outside helping his dad clean up the yard (we have 30-50 tall trees on our 1/2acre property) and they're loading the branches up in the truck and taking it to the free compost/mulch site for our county. There is minimal grumbling from the boys, surprising since they're 12 and 16!

Got all my Thanksgiving/grocery shopping done and shouldn't have to venture out until next week.

Enjoyed a relaxing day at home...didn't get anything done..but that is OK

Watched TV with Hubby...Mysteries of the Abandoned (buildings slowly rotting away)

and a prayer: Lord God, be with all who travel this week-end...May all stay awake and drive with awareness. Also be present in the family conversations so that arguments will decrease and Your Love be shared among family members. Amen
