Emotional eating is also probably my biggest struggle. I also like to cook. It is hard to identify hunger vs. emotions, and how to replace food with a non food source of comfort. I am trying to be very aware of emotional eating triggers, and comfort substitutes like being in nature, watching a good movie, cuddling up in a blanket, holding the cat, taking a hot bath, and thinking comforting, supportive thoughts. It takes practice!

Hi I'm emotional eater who loves sweets often I use them as a comfort food so I try not to bring them in the house! I love to bake which I have slowed down tremendously, I want to learn to bake and cook healthier. Though they have slipped in my house occasionally I try to limit my consumption and give the extra away. hopefully I can learn how to tame my cravings by joining this team! I over eat sweets, I don't exercise, consistently, I'm a recovering alcoholic and a cigarette smoker, Oh and I'm dyslexic, I welcome all support, thanks.
