It is always a struggle having many health issues, but you can still find ways to move within your limits. It can all be a matter of finding your personal stride and your plan.

Thanks to both of you for your comments. I appreciate it, truly.

In 2008 I had a stroke, the cause was a micro-lesion in my brain-stem. This, combined with positional vertigo on top of that, results in continued dizziness, some tics, et al. So I can now respond positively to my Dad's constant query back in my youth... Yes, I am drain bamaged.

Jesus told his followers that "in this world you will have trouble". I can vouch for that. But the difficulties we face in this life, no matter the source, impact us mainly based on how we respond. And part of our journey to health is learning new ways to respond.

I look forward to being on that adventure with you two, and all those who strive.

I'm not even near perfect, but I know someone who is.

Welcome! It is too bad that people like you have to suffer and lose something that helped you because of others abusing the system. My pain issues are suffering the same way. Hoping you can find some relief, maybe you can find a doctor that can have some alternatives to Ambien or something to help you.

Heyas! All my life I've had mostly jobs that ended up being the late shift or overnight. This includes my time in the Military. At 59 and disabled a person might think I have time to address this. However, even having a CPAP hasn't addressed the issue. However, when I do sleep it is a better sleep that's for sure. Blackout shades, melatonin, no sugars near bedtime, doing calcium and magnesium, &c., have not helped real well. Ambian worked, but then the VA cut me off of them because of a new anti-drug-abuse policy. I was taking them every 2-3 days to avoid that, but the Government obviously continues to this day to think that since the popular and handy tool is a hammer, that every problem is a nail.

I'm hoping this Scandahovian can find some support and insights here in this team. I also look forward to encouraging others.

Btw, every problem is not a nail. And I am a patriot, glad to be American, and tired of the Post-modern world I live in.

I'm not even near perfect, but I know someone who is.
