Hi All,

Glad to see Spark is helping me stay on top of my resolution. I'm hoping to lose around fifteen pounds. The prize incentive is certainly going to help me make sure I'm always tracking my progress. It's a really great motivator and I'm glad they came up with it.

Hi everyone! My name is Anna and I have been a member of SparkPeople since February 2011. I have lost 90 pounds so far, relying only on eating right and not going over my calorie limit. Having lost so much weight and with 30 pounds still left to go, I have become increasingly aware about the importance of toning my body. I am just finishing up week 4 of the Bootcamp challenge, and I am hoping to continue this exercise streak through participating in this challenge. I hope to come out of this challenge feeling and looking better. :)

So many reasons to take on this challenge! My health, my fitness, my sanity all depend on me and I depend on structure. I give much of myself away, to my 3 year old daughter, my husband, my students and colleagues. While my husband is deployed for most of this year, I have a special opportunity to build some systems for nurturing myself as much as I nurture those around me. Let's do this!!

Hi, my name is Juanita. I have been very unmotivated the past few months following the death of my sister at the end of September. It's time to kick myself in the seat of the pants and get moving again, literally. So I signed up to try something different. Been a SP member for about 2 years and I can't say enough good things about this site. I am blessed that it is all free. I've checked out a few other sites, but nothing seems to come close to working or even sounding like it would work for me. My family physician actually recommended the site. Too bad I didn't challenge him before he left to lose weight with me. But I'm so please he helped me out by recommending the site.

My mail goal is to prove to myself that I can workout w/o having to go to the gym which is very expensive alternative while living on SS retirement funds and still get a good workout. Hoping that after 4 weeks good exercising will once again become a habit for me.

Hi, My name is Leslie. I have joined this team to keep the Spark that began for me in July. I have been very consistent with cardio, tracking, messaging, huddling with my teams, and blogging, but ............ I have put off the Strength Training part of my fitness plan. This challenge seemed to be a fun and interactive way develop better strength training habits.

I am getting older, but I am very active, still teaching special ed., have a wonderful family and many friends, and plan to stay fit in a well rounded and balanced fashion for life.

Hi I'm Stephanie and I need to develop some exercise habits. I feel better when I'm active but I also need to deal with fibromyalgia, restless leg syndrome and achilles tendonitis. Moving makes the fibro easier to deal with, restless legs forces me to move and achilles tendonitis is fixed with totally stopping movement. I don't know how to deal with all of this, so wish me luck!!!

Hi my name is Tracy I seriously need to kick start the new year off right. The last 2 1/2 months have been 2 1/2 of the hardest months I've ever had to deal with. We lost our home, and I have spent the last 2 1/2 months packing our stuff and packing on weight. I have let habits that I thought I have dealt with and put behind me, well, they are back full force...Starbucks is a biggie for me :( but anyways, can't wait to start this challenge!!!!

Hi ! My name is Katrina.
My first goal for 2012 is to complete my first official challenge...........or two. I am also doing Coach Nicole's new 28 Day Bootcamp DVD. I plan to maintain my daily walks, regular stair climbing, 'walk to run' training and an occasional visit to one of my Pilates dvds.
I have decided to work 2012 with multiple mini goals. My current plan: Re-enter 'ONE-DERLAND' by Valentine's Day.

I have not failed. I am simply finding my limitations and will work to learn from them !
Still taking one day at a time!

Hello I am Linda!

I am 48 and have about 20 - 30 more pounds to lose. I am a web developer/graphic designer and a personal trainer. I am also certified in Nutrition. When I finish losing the weight, I want to help others do the same thing. Right now, I do my 10,000+ steps a day, jogging/walking. I am working toward doing a 5K this April! Hello everyone! I look forward to getting to know all of you!

I am married with 2 kids. I also have 2 large mutt dogs and 2 guinea pigs. I am really in a period of transition right now. I will be starting a temp job for the tax season next week. I have been doing temp jobs for a few governement agencies for the last 5 years, though I'd love to find a permanent job already.

Like everyone else here, I am trying to lose weight. I had a few "chubby" periods as a teenager, but was never this overweight until I had my 2 kids. I have always been pretty shy, so it's always been awkward to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. I am trying to discover what I like and what I am good at.

I know I can do it, I just procrastinate. Hi all!

I have a "sparker" for several years as was at healthy weight and BMI. I originally joined to hold myself accountable as I entered my 40's. Since late 2010 I have been battling two serious health issues. As my ability to maintain my exercise schedule of 60 minutes 5-6 days decreased and eventually disappeared, my weight increased. I have gained 35 pounds and have been working hard the past 2 months to get my health issues in a maintenance mode (with the help of medication). My doctors and I believe I am ready to increase my couple times a week exercise. I am very excited to me on this Team and start this Challenge tomorrow!

Hello! My name is Jennifer. I have 3 little boys and realized in October that I spend all my time doing things for them and not much for my self. So I decided to give myself 20 to 30 minutes a day to spend on myself and do exercise. I have lost 30 lbs since that time and working toward losing another 60 lbs. I found and joined SP because I was losing my motivation through the holidays. This challenge has got me revved up and ready to go again! Hi, I'm Jennifer. I started using SparkPeople, eating healthier, and exercising regularly in June 2011. I was doing really well, lost 56 lbs, and then I kind of hit a wall. I didn't fall back into all of my old habits. But I did stop tracking, stopped getting my water in, and wasn't exercising nearly as much. I think this challenge is just what I need to get myself refocussed and back on track.

I just turned 48 and have a big year planned. My husband and I have been riding a tandem bicycle for the past 5 years, and while it is SO MUCH FUN, I find that I rely on his "beastliness" to get us up the big hills way too much. This year, I vow to take my cycling to a higher level, and to ride independently, while still riding tandem with him just for fun!

I'm Rebecca, I'm 31 and had my second baby boy several months ago. I am excited for this jumpstart program because it is just what I need. I am currently 170lbs and would like to get to at least 140, possibly even 130. I can't wait until tomorrow!

Hi my name is Claudia and am from California. I am 24 years old and am currently on winter break and just started to exercise this Tuesday and keeping track of my eating. I currently weigh 159 and want to weigh 120. I'm hoping to loose at least 7-10 pounds by the time school starts. I'm really looking forward to this challenge . Awesome Awesome. God Bless!!!
