I recommend stretching well after every run. I noticed that my legs feel great when I do that. When I give up on the stretching cause it's a "waste of time", I feel it in my knees, my hips and my hamstrings. Best of luck to you.

Welcome! I suggest a good pair of shoes to help eliminate extra knee pain!!

Cheering you on.

Hugs!

I'm new to running. My goal is to be able to jog a 5k. I'm not worried about getting a great time yet, I'd just like to be able to jog or run the entire way. I have had knee problems in the past, so I plan to wrap my knee whenever I jog. Does anyone have any suggestions for good techniques to avoid knee strain?
