Nice to meet you all

Leslie, I am a two time lymphoma survivor. I've been down the road with chemo (ABVD, ICE, and BEAM). I have had 17 radiation treatments and an autologous stem cell transplant in May, 2009. My current status is "iffy" but we will call it remission until someone officially recognizes the scans as being cancer and not a year long infection that is spreading. The lymphnodes are very small but are lighting up in my abdomen and chest. Good luck to you and your treatment. Sparkpeople has certainly given me a lot of challenges to get fit despite my crazy body. Good luck on your transplant and upcoming chemo. Keep me in the loop and friend me if you wish.

@ JESPAH I am not a survivor either. However, I am the uncle of a leukemia survivor, and for the past 9 years I have raised money for the leukemia and lymphoma society through marathons, 100 mile bike rides, and triathlons.

I hope you don't mind me joining. I don't have Hodgkin's -- my mother does. She is 78 and about a half a century older than most people who get it (as you undoubtedly are aware).

Welcome. You are strong for taking on treatment for so long. I got stage III lymphoma 2 years ago. I've had 3 different chemos, and a stem cell transplant. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts your way.
