My names Donna I've done a bootcamp before a few years ago and did well with it. I'm always on and off with exercise and weight loss. I've been on sparkpeople for a while now and I'm also much older than all of yous so this should be interesting. I've always have been pretty active but about 2 months ago I started having problems with my knee and I'm finding it harder to work out. I've been trying to do more low impact exercises. I want to wear a bathing suite that I wore last summer it's a 2 piece. We are going away in June and it will be nice to wear that again.

By attempting something really difficult and outside of your comfort zone, you will discover how strong you really are.

my friends call me Chriss/Christy. I wasn't always overweight. I struggled with Bulemia and Anorexia as a preteen to teen.

I began my rapid weight gain after the lost of my baby when I was 18. so 9 years ago. I climbed upto 220 and stayed there for a couple years, my long term relationship ended, I went up to 240, I began working out and seeing my now boyfriend of six years. I went down to 205, we experienced some tragedy in the beginning of our relationship. We moved across the country to help his mom through her cancer, she beat the cancer, but we ultimately lost her :( R.I.P. during that time Dan and one of his friends had gotten into a fight, I tried to break it up, BIG mistake. His friend had punched my knee, causing me to limp for over a year. I got up to 287 over that year.

My relationship fell apart. I moved away and began using Meth recreationally for about a year. I dropped down to 220. I used it off an on during the period of 15 months. I gave up the drug, thanks to my family helping me out of my situation. My guy and I got together again, he was NOT happy about my recreational choices. I moved to the deep south. by the time I had gotten there I was at 279. I just left there after 3 years of living there. now I'm up to 317 :(

i REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get back on track. I've fallen too many times and I've lost so much!

Hello everyone,

My name is Jennifer and I am an wife and mother of an 4yr old and indetical twin 3yr olds. I have all boys in my house they keep me jumpin! I leave for the Army on May 23, 2011 so I am trying to get in shape as much as I can before I leave. I need to get 20 pushups in 2 mins, 53 sit ups in 2 mins and 19 min run time for 2 miles to get a promotion before I ship. I desperatly want to get this promotion. I thought this would be fun to help keep me motivated cause I hit a wall and seemed to have stopped loosing weight.

Hi! I've been working with my Dr. for about 7 months now and have lost 70 lbs. I started my cardio workouts just in the last couple months and was told to start adding strength training as well... figured may as well join a challenge to help keep me motivated! :D

Hello Everyone: my Dr. called me AT HOME to tell me my cholesterol numbers were sky high! Time to get serious! I have NEVER exercised for more than a couple days in my ENTIRE LIFE! Hi everyone! I am brand new to the group and excited to get started. I moved to GA about two years ago and ever since the move my activity level has steadily declined. Moving from a walkable City to GA where you drive *Everywhere* was a huge change and unfortunately I never made time to make fitness a priority in other ways.

Hello all! I am a mother of two and also a full time nursing student. I have put on a bit of weight the last year or so but have ignored it and down played it. But I refuse to be one of those hypocritical nurses that are supposed to educate people on proper fitness and diet and not follow it myself. (not to mention I want to look nice and sassy in my nursing scrubs!) :P He he he! I just did my second day workout and I am a TERRIBLE procrastinator, like the absolute worst! I am just so happy I have stuck to my commitment, even though it is only day two for me! Well that's me folks! Good luck to you all and I'll see you on the other side!!

Hi, I'm Crystal. I am also one of those people who started spark people forever ago and let it fall by the wayside along with my aspirations for serious weight loss. New to the Challenge, I had joined and was behind a week so I decided to rejoin. I have surgery on my right wrist on Tuesday, so not sure I will be able to do all of the 10 min videos with both hands but will do them with my left hand while recovering. I will continue my cardio while recovering as well. I am hoping to drop 25lbs before Aug 1st. Looking forward to getting to know other newbies like me.

We can all do it, we just need to take it one minute, hour, day at a time!

I need to get a better handle on my health and wellbeing. I have started to lose weight 4 pounds. I have started a walking club at my church and some of us are at 5 miles 3 times a week for a total of 15 miles a week. my wieght is coming off slowly but I tell myself that the slower it comes off the longer it stays gone...lol emoticon

Hi, My name is Laurean and I'm from northern NY. I am starting this challenge to establish a workout routine. Recently, I have gained 10 pounds above my usual holiday weight gain and finding it harder than ever to get back down. I have been struggling with being over weight for a long time and now my goals seem even further away.

I realize that changing my eating habits will not work anymore and I need to increase my physical activity. My goal is to lose those ten pounds plus get to the border of overweight and a healthy weight then from there..... well, it time to focus on this goal. Exercise is the key.

Hey, my name is Cindy and I live in Greenville, SC, I have been gaining weight since I turned 40 and I am now 58, I have yoyo'd the last 12 years and now I think my body is in total rejection of any efforts I am making.... and I don't blame it really. Journaling has really opened my eyes to how many calories I am eating..... and not I need to take responsibilities for my food choices and start exercising...your suppose and suggestions are very welcome

Hi! My name is Nicole and I just moved from Spokane, Washington to Pearl City, Hawaii. During the move a put on some weight, not to mention the weight that I have left over from having kids. I am very eager to get the weight off and have a nice bathing suit body. Hello all! I'm doing this 28 day challenge more for the nutritional aspect. The workout discipline won't be hard for me but the nutritional part will. I'm also doing a 30 days of being Sugar Free along side this challenge, and am on day 4. So far, so good but this is tough. I always look at sweets as though I deserve it because I made it through my day. Not so...I'm trying to change my mindset about a treat on a daily basis to one of an occasional basis.

I'm Ebony! I've wanted to return to my original level of fitness or better for years now. I guess my last birthday lit a fire under me. I've always appeared 20 lbs lighter than I actually weigh because of my build. HOWEVER, I'm over weight and I'd like to lose about 35-40 lbs, but my Dr. says because of my body structure/composition I should only lose about 25. *SIGH*

Either way, I've decided to embark upon a journey of ultimate health and fitness. I'm sure that my body will adjust itself to whatever it's supposed to be...be it minus 10, 20, 30, or 40 lbs. I'm 4 weeks in and I've mainly lost inches, but I'm OK with that.

I'm CSISIlverlock, or Pippa in real life. I've wanted to join this challenge for ages, but just wanted to wait til my spring break so I could get focused for a few weeks as a nice kick start. My goal is to be 126 by my holiday in July, so 18lbs by the end of July.
