I joined this challenge to help get me focused again. The past few weeks have been a challenge, and I am taking some time to refocus, and get back to the basics.

I dont feel great! tired winded easy and I feel frumpy!! approaching the big 50 in 2 years I know that the time is now so I can be healthy to play and climb and go to the beach with my grandkiddos. Im here to be more healthy and accountable and tracked!! IT works for me! Im excited about the 28 day bootcamp because a habit can be formed in less than that time so healthy as a habit I like it!! Happy New Year!! Enjoy!!

Hey Everyone! I'm going to do this! I'm going to do it to give myself a better, healthier, and fuller life! I'm also doing this to be the wife my husband deserves and the daughter my parents deserve. Finally, I am doing this because I'm graduating as an LPN in May and I don't want to look like a walking contradiction! emoticon

Last year I lost 10 lbs and then gained it back. My goal is to lose that 10 plus some...and change my habits so I don't gain it back. I'm hoping the bootcamp challenge kickstart this goal!

SanGabKate: SanGabriel CA - looking to a: look good naked, b: quit looking like an old frump ('cause I don't feel like one) c: quit having to listen to my Dr. nag me about my weight, and quit taking the meds he insists I must take. (the side effects of them make them sound like definete poison. His response is always "other Doctors take them" like that's a worthwhile answer) I've just signed up, will have to print out the videos to do at home as I (currently) am set to go to the gym on my lunch hour. Will have to work a finding the time to do them at home. Time will be a major issue for me. So, today is day one for me and I'm off to the gym. --- If there are any folks who live in my neck of the woods, I'd like to set up a walking group to meet once a month.

Hello all, I've been taking a break from SP due to illness and am ready to get back in the swing of things. This Challenge seems perfect for what I need right now- to lose the little bit of weight I gained during my idle fall.

Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone! My name is Heather and I have been a memeber of SP since August of 2010! I have lost 28lbs so far, but have recently slipped on the exercise and logging my food! I guess you could say life happend! I had finals coming up and the holidays, where I went out of town for a week. So I am back and ready to get some more weight off! I have 30 more pounds to lose before I am at my goal weight! I have a Spring break trip to Florida planned for March 12th, and I would love to be able to wear a bikini! I wish everyone the best of luck during their journey!

Hi everyone
I've joined the challenge because I need to kick-start my fitness after hitting a plateau about 6 months ago.
At this time last year I was running 4-5 days a week and was on track for a 10k run in April. Then I blew an ITBand in my knee in early March. Between trying to recover from my injury, having my running/training partner move away and generally just slacking off, I have completely lost the tone and motivation I had. I want to get it back!
I would like to try for the same 10k I was training for last year - it's coming up the third Sunday in April. Hopefully, this team will be exactly what I need to start feeling good about myself again.

Hey everyone. I'm a long time Sparker, but I've been kind of slacking on the whole healthy lifestyle thing recently. I'm here for the challenge because I kind of need a swift kick in the bootie to get me back on track. So far it's been sweaty, exhausting, and awesome!

I'm game to lose 20 pounds. I fell off the wagon due to a back injury but I'm ready to get back into the game. So I'm looking to use this Bootcamp challenge to push me quite a bit.

OK, I'm in. I've been a Spark member since July, but fell off the wagon and have GAINED 5 pounds! I work out regularly, but obviously I make up for all the calories I burn with my diet. I'm hoping that the Bootcamp challenge will give me a good push to actually start losing some weight. Really hope to see some results! Wish me luck!

Hi, I have been a member since October 2006. I was very successful in losing 130 lbs in less than a year. I met great friends and had great experiences. Unfortunately, I started to slip back into old habits, then I let a couple of injuries keep me from exercising, then before I knew it, I'd gained it ALL back. I'm trying not to kick myself for what I've done, and I'm hoping a challenge like this will help me with starting over.

I need to lose about 35 pounds and this is exactly what I need to get in gear and get serious. Thank you for doing the bootcamp challenge. I promise to work hard, not give up, and reach my goals.

Hey Team!

I'm Beth, I had already planned to get more serious about my working out this (I've been slacking the last couple months) so this challenge looked like a good way to motivate me.

I've been pretty successful with my weight loss so far, mostly due to running and portion control, I've come down from my high of about 220 a few years ago to my current weight of 159, give or take a pound or two. I've been stuck in the high 150s for over a year now and I want to make it to my goal of 140 this year. I'm going to do it! emoticon

Hello my name is Mellisa, I have been a member of Spark for a little while but have found myself falling back into old habits. Hi!

I'm so excited to get on track!!! I'm a 26 year old sign language interpreter and up until September was a full time desk job-er, an intern, a student AND a sometimes-interpreter. I quit my day job at the end of August (woot!) and since then have been the laziest slug mankind has ever seen. :) So, right. I've had my 4 months of working and sleeping and now it's time to get my fitness back on track!!! My GF and I are doing this together. Day 1 was fun... but isn't day one ALWAYS fun? :) For our cardio we are walking our dogs and playing Just Dance... awesome!

Hey everyone! I am Teresa without the "h". In my youth, I was very light and unhealthy. Now I'm 52 and much heavier and unhealthy. I started in December getting into the "mindset" of finally being healthy and this is a great way to start. Here's to 2011.

Hi Everybody!

My name is Theresa and like so many others,I got caught in a diet rut and needed more support and help to getting back On Plan. I originally started my journey with Weight Watchers back in September 09 and lost 73lbs before I begin to gain some back slowly. I immediately joined Spark for better support, and to meet new people who face my challenges.

Lastly, I hope to not only get back on track but this time make it to my goal weight and go from losing(which I'm always doing!), to maintaining a much healthier life style! I can't wait to get to know everyone, and good luck to you all!!!!

Hi All!! It's another Shelly and like everyone else I feel it's time to get serious about the weight loss. Not just for me but for a certain fat Dobe sidekick that shares my house :)

Due to health issues exercising is not comfortable but the more I exercise the better things get so I'm hoping this challenge will be a bit more incentive.

I have been neglecting Sparks for a while and actually had started back logging my foods and exercising before I saw this challenge. Icing on the cake :) Waiting for delivery of my Sparks book and hoping to take a step forward everyday.

May we all have a great year and a super start this month!!! Good luck!!

Hello my name is Tammy and I have been with Sparks for about 1 year(I think) and it is time fir me to fet serious about weight loss. My daughter moved back in and I haven't put the effort into it the last month or 2 of 2010. Now it is time to get the baby weight off and more since she will be turning 1 year in Feb. This challenge seemed to catch my eye and I thought I could do it while everyone is still sleeping. Thanks for listening.

Okay, I am posting this a few days late, but I am so excited to be doing the bootcamp challenge! I have been doing my videos and my cardio and I feel great! I have not seen any change yet on the scales, but I figure it can't stay frozen like a dead fish for long. I am eating right and sparking all my food. Somehow it has to start moving in the right direction. I have been back on SP for about 2.5 weeks now, and this is the first challenge I jumped on. I am on day 5 (I think) of this 28 day challenge. Wish me luck!!

Ok, I am joining a few days late due to personal reasons -- but here I am. Going to start out with the video and do cardio once all the kids are napping. I am looking forward to a good jump start on my weight loss goals. Thank you for setting this all up.

HI! I actually joined on Sunday, but forgot to introduce myself.
I'm Lauren, still fighting with the weight gained in college and beyond.
I need to lose quite a bit and am planning on this bootcamp to kick me into gear and keep me at my new life habits for good!
We can DO this!

My name is Kristy and I live in New York. I've been on SP off and on for about year but have gotten serious in the last couple weeks. I think this challenge will be good for me because some days I don't have time to do a full workout and the 10 minute videos are good.

I work full time days, my husband works full time nights, I have 4 boys ages 12, 11 and 6 year old twins. My 11 year old is big into sports and it's basketball season right now. So I'm carting him around to practice 2 nights a week and the games start next week. I also go to school full time online. So not alot of free time to work out for me!

Hi everyone, I am Brenda and last year was one of a lot of health challenges so I am starting 2011 off with personal goal of investing in myself. I was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and was told I needed dialysis and transplant but thank God I am no longer symptomatic and I am not on dialysis or had a transplant. My goal to celebrate is to run in a 5k by the spring and to get in the best physical condition I can get. I plan to use Spark as one of my tools to help me on this journey.

Good Morning Everyone. I'm just getting going. I think I've been on SP for at least one year maybe going on two. I've really been trying hard the last several months. I've had several falls the most recent and worst was in August when I fell down two stairs and sprained both ankles. I'm just now getting back to full activity.

I am 51, Married Mother of 5, Grandmother of 4 beautiful Girls and I really want to be around to see them live their lives. I still have both my Parents and they are my greatest cheerleaders. I love my familly!!

I want to really get into this challenge and make some great progress!Any tips and help on how to manuever around and make the best of the team site would be appreciated.!!!

I hope everyone makes great progress!!! emoticon

I'm Melissa; I'm 30; I'm partnered; I'm an LCSW. This is the year I want to get pregnant and I want to be the best possible oven for any perspective buns! I joined this group because it seemed doable, even though I don't always have a ton of time to work out.

I'd like to lose about 7 pounds, but the scale is not my god!
