I've been here a little over a week but just realized I never really introduced myself!!

I'm Kathryn :] I think this is such a great challenge as I don't always have time to do a ton of exercise so I feel like if I'm not going to put in a lot of time then it isn't worth it. So setting a goal of 10 minutes is totally do-able!

My main goal is to build consistency in exercising. Also I want to work more with weights and toning up, though I know I've got to get the cardio in there!

I'm Mel. I joined because I need something to motivate me to get back into my exercise routine. For months I did very well exercising everyday. I'm also goal orientated, so I figure this challenge is the perfect way to get me motivate again.

I am confused! I just checked in to see that I have NO progress this month shows on this team and I've been doing the 10 minutes of exercise at least 5 times per week since the end of August! Why isn't it tracking that when I enter it into my Fitness. If this isn't something that is doing this automatically, then I guess I need to resign from this team cuz it's one more thing I'd have to remember to do, and obviously I can't :P

Good Morning! I'm Beth; new to this team but not to SP. I fell off the Spark wagon quite some time ago and have been desperately trying to get back on again. I have registered for the Disney Princess Half Marathon and want to assure it's completion. This will be my 2nd attempt at this race. The first time I got to mile 7.5 before my knees would carry me no further. The first step toward finishing tis race is getting back into good exercise habits. I am hoping this team will be just what I need.

My name is Kym and I joined the 10-minute challenge because exercise used to be a part of my life, as vital as showering and breathing. I fell out of that and the only exercise I got was going to the store to buy more junk food. 10 minutes is a great place to start to get me back in the habit.

I have been challenging myself to do this off and on since I purchased the Spark last year. I usually don't last at it more than a week. I like the idea of doing this for a month.

Hello From my name you can tell I am not very creative, but at least I am determined. I will turn 65 next March but I feel better than I have thanks mainly to Sparks teams. I had open heart surgery in 2007 and lost my husband later that year. My daughter pushed me to try sparks soon after that. I have not looked back since. I will continue walking 30 minutes every day and add 30 minutes of flexibility exercise alternating with 30 minutes of strength (weights) exercise every other day. Sundays will be resting days.

Hi. I signed up a week or two ago, but never did anything.... so.... I'm re-starting.
For some reason I've done worse eating this past weekend. All salty stuff, now I feel puffed up from it.
So, I'll pull out a dvd and exercise - and de-salt my diet. emoticon

Hi everyone!
While I'm pretty good with my workouts (I usually do 30 min cardio and 30 min strength training or yoga or pilates), I like the idea of adding a little extra workout time into my day, maybe before dinner since I do my other workouts in the mornings.

Hi, I'm happy to find this challenge. Have been making it to the gym regularly for some time, but those days inbetween have been on my mind... Looking for ideas and motivation for brief bursts of increased activity, now that some things I used to consider as being active (10 minute walk from garage to office carrying laptop bag) as much of a workout.

Hello, I've been using Spark People for one month. I've lost 6 lbs. I feel like I could do better, if I could just get into an exercise routine. I've been using Wii Fit Plus, but I don't feel like I really workout much with that. I'm hoping to find something here that will fit with my personality. I really don't have a fitness personality so I need to find one. I'm a musician - I did not get into athletics much, though I tried basketball and volleyball when I was younger. I live on an acreage and walking is not an option because I live on a busy highway - it's too dangerous.

I've been doing pretty well with weekly exercise minutes, but I tend to get them all in just a few days. I need to be exercising at least a little on my off days, so here I am. Ten minutes on the bike shouldn't be any trouble at all.
