Wow, what a tough year for you all! It is so hard for change in an adult let alone a child. Makes it tough! My children are the same way with daycare! They are super excited when we get there, but just as excited when I get there to pick them up at the end of the day!

Your job sounds tough, I feel like I'm surrounded by troubled kids (family) and struggle to understand them and their parents.
I have been blessed with my teen so far she is a good child, last year was rough and she had to do some therapy coming of age depression, mixed with me getting married, having a baby, almost losing the baby, loss of an income, selling everything to pay bills... Well it was a big year for her to hit adolescence.
I think daycare is important (although the consistent illnesses suck) and my little one just loves it. Her face lights up when we pull in the lot, makes me happy to see.

Very nice to meet you! I also stayed home with my oldest daughter (5yrs now) when she was first born until she was about 3yrs old. Then I decided to go back to work and surprise we had another baby (now 1yr). Unfortunately we cannot afford for me to stay home with her so she has definitely struggled with being in daycare and all the illnesses that get spread around :(.

But, I absolutely LOVE my job and am so blessed. I am an Intensive Juvenile Probation Officer and love working with the kids. Some days are obviously worse than others and can be very very heartbreaking with all we see, but there are much better days and that's what makes it worth it!

Hi all I'm a mother of two girls one is 13 and the other is 11 months.
I'm a factory worker and my job is mind numbingly boring but it puts food on the table. It's also very physical.
When I had my baby there were a lot of issues and I had to quit my job at a chorizo plant where I was QA to stay home with her through the flu season. I am pretty picky about the meat I eat lol. I had been a part of a stay at home moms group but after going back to work well time to move on.
My goals are to get back into working out on a regular basis and lose about and inch and a half. I'm at weight so I will need to learn maintenance
