Thanks so much for replying. Yes, I think I am figuring out that my portions are too big, generally because I used to do races and had to eat more. I am trying to use a scale and measuring cups now to keep my portions in check. Also, I used to be able to work out in the mornings for 45 minutes but my new job gets me to work at 6:30am and then the kids have sports and homework after school. I am trying to jump on the treadmill for 30 minutes (plus squats, weights, etc) in between activities but maybe I just have to exercise more???

Are you sure you're eating enough? When our bodies don't get enough calories, it causes our body to hang on to everything it's got because it thinks it's in starvation mode.

Do you switch up your routine? Maybe your body just needs something different activity wise.

Hi everyone! I have been trying to lose 10 pounds for over a year and simply can't seem to do it....so I thought that posting on this site might help :-) I am 40 years old and generally eat very healthy and exercise alot. I am not sure where the pounds came from!! Anyone have any tips for me?
