Thanks so much for all the great messages!!! I have been through this MANY times ...I can be very dedicated and have reached my goal many times and been in the best place ever as far as weight and confidence goes...but I always go back to the same weight and have to start all over again. I am a clean eater, I excercise every day ,consider myself a pretty healthy woman , but when I am not on track I binge eat at night never in the day only late evening and really want to stop this cycle. ( I can for months on end but eventually usually when I have achieved my goal weight this is when it begins and so the cycle continues).......it really can be depressing and really not healthy for me.

People
often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does
bathing--that's why we recommend it daily.

I read this on spark. I thought it was great. I m just saying I think it is normal to loose motivation that is why it has to become a habit, like water drinking that was hard for me but I put water bottles everywhere to make it convenient and now its a habit to drink water. Best of luck to you.

It must be a lifestyle change, new habits for a new way of life. There is no going back to maintain the healthy self. emoticon

We all have similar issues or we wouldn't be here. But consistency does seem to help me. Good luck this time around.

That's the tricky part! It's like we get in shape and think we can slack for just a day or 2 and then it's a week, a month and before we know it we're out of shape and have gained back all the weight we lost. The prize is to figure out why and change those behaviors. I wish I could say I have but I struggle each and every day. I do know by staying on SP it keeps me more focused. I do know I have exercised more and ate better. I'm still trying to figure it all out. I'm sure it's different for everyone. I know I do eat when bored, stressed or tired which if often. So..look within and try to figure out what will work for you. emoticon
