Apply the same strength and goals you've set for school to your weight loss. I'm the same age and the thought of going back for my PhD is overwhelming. I'm impressed. Good luck and success with both your adventures. emoticon

Hi. I am 59 years old and I would like to loose 54 pounds. I have been overweight all of my adult life, so the thought of actually doing this seems remote at best. But so many of you have done this, and I want to be like you. I started grad school this year, and I hope to be able to get my PhD within four years. I know that I will do that, but loosing weight just seems beyond me. Jackie
